(Sorry, school. I'll work on my character when I get home and will probably finish it if that's ok?)
(bloop)
(I'm so close to done. I am so sorry this is taking so long but it is so fun making her template)
(oh mood)
Name: Nora Chen
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Homosexual/Lesbian
Tier: Top Tier
Species: Ailuridae (Not a part of distinctly the panda or raccoon family, so, therefore, is apart of its own family)
Breed: Red Panda https://i.ytimg.com/vi/b6dT4kyVUuY/maxresdefault.jpg
Appearance~
Hair: Her hair is a gorgeously deep red colour that fades to a platinum blond at the bottom. Her hair goes down to just above her shoulders as is fluffy and healthy.
Eyes: Her eyes are a deep brown, almost black and have a lighter, hazelnut brown colour as the outer and inner rim of her iris’. Her eyelashes are long (2.5cm. I know, long), dainty and delicate but still thick and visible. Her eyebrows are the same, full and nicely formed but they suit her well, especially all the facial expressions she makes. Her eyes are big and hooded, practically the only resemblance she has with her Chinese/Asian heritage.
Face: Her facial features are dainty like they were drawn out with a calligraphy pen. High cheekbones, deep-set, hooded eyes, sharp jawline and a proportionate nose.
Skin: Her complexion is pretty pale with a few freckles in random sprays along her cheeks, shoulders and chest, along with vitiligo in unorganized splotches on her stomach with is a tan colour, although she can’t tan. Her skin is pretty smooth except for a few moles she has on her back
Body~
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 126.23 lbs
Body Type: She had a pear-shaped body aka small bust and narrow shoulders and a thin waist while she also had wide hips and thick thighs which are mostly muscle.
Animal features: She has two tiny ears shaped like the original red panda’s with the same platinum blond hair but in tufts dispersed along the base of her ears which she normally tucks back with a thin, black elastic headband. Her parents, when she was a baby, got her tail surgically removed, which is a thing that she is now pissed at them for, her being the type to want to embrace her heritage
Tattoos/piercings: She has a few piercings in her ears. The piercings are both gold rings with emeralds inside and studs of emerald with gold outsides and backings.
Style: She tends to wear loose-fitting clothing and tends to stay in modest wear such as hoodies and leggings and such even though her parents hate it when she goes out like it.
Personality: She’s quite shy at first and doesn’t tend to interact with others if she can avoid it but once you get to know her she’s quite bubbly and friendly. (I’m sure this link would describe her much better: https://www.16personalities.com/isfj-personality)
Likes: She loves the rain and nature. She’s always loved trees and plants, she could probably name 12 dozen plants just off the top of her head if you gave her an ecosystem to talk about. She loves dark chocolate and her heritage, although she somehow took on a more Caucasian look/features.
Dislikes: She doesn’t particularly like being at her top tier status, especially due to the fact that she got it because her kind is in danger. She especially doesn’t like the gratuitous amounts of money, for she is more of a naturalist and minimalist herself.
Background: She was born in America and grew up there but her parents were set on her learning her native language, Chinese.
Other: I’m sorry I took so long, is she ok?
(OMIGOD SHE'S FUCKING AMAZING)
Val sat on the city streets, guitar in hand, singing for the world. She did this as her hobby, not as a way to make money. She had originally used it as a way to make her own name on the world, but after people started to realise she was Top Tier she stopped. "Hey! Top Tier! Leave that job to a Low Tier!" Someone yelled, and she looked up to recognise them as a High Tier.
"Yeah! Let them make the money! You already have enough!" A Middle Tier added.
Nora was sat at a coffee shop's window seat, her eyes peering deep into a book, trying her best to ignore the stares she got from passers-by. She used to work here but after they found out she was a top tier they fired her, thinking she was just in the job for extra money. She wasn't of course, all she had wanted was to interact with the people of the world without any indifference or levels of richness or poor. She had loved it, but now she was back to being called a snob and a priss. She hated it with a fiery passion.
She looked up from her book when she heard the two level dedicated words being shouted out. Her eyes landed on what seemed to be another top tier playing guitar, her case closed beside her. She knew in an instant that she was just playing for joy, and these folks were ruining it. She snapped her book closed, shoving it into her thrifted book-bag and opening the door of the small cafe. She walked across the street. What was she doing? she had no honest answer to that. She was never the one to speak up but it had just gotten to her today she guess.
"Hey, there's no need to take in what they say." the girl looked about the same age as her. Pretty too.
(THANK YOUUUUUUUUU)
Val looked up in surprise. No one had really encouraged her to do this before, especially someone who she immediately recognised as a fellow Top Tier. No other Top Tiers had ever told her that what she was doing was OK. Especially not one so so pretty.
"Thanks, but I don't. Even after they found I was Top Tier, I kept singing. Music's my passion. I'm not going to stop it." She put her guitar in her case and then stood up, sticking out her hand. "Top Tier, Amur Leopard. I'm Valeriya. Valeriya Petrov. But you can call me Val."
(when introducing themselves to someone new that they want/need to know, they say their tier and then breed
otherwise its just their name)
(Alright! I love this so far!)
She took her hand, shaking it gently, "Top Tier, Red Panda. I'm Nora Chen." she replied, smiling brightly. She couldn't lose her demeanour now. "What you're doing…I tried to bridge the gap between tiers but it doesn't work as well as I thought it would. But it's amazing. Your music sounds amazing" she sputtered, a faint, light pink blush coming across her face
She was speechless for a quick second, soft blush slowly working itself onto her cheeks. "Th-thanks," She blurted out. A strand of hair fell in front of her face and she brushed it out. "Is it weird to say that I'm not used to support from other Top Tiers? I mean, my parents are OK with what I do, but they're not extremely fond of it. Not unless I can make a career out of it."
“Yeah, my parents hate it when i do anything like it. You should get more support though. You’re a great singer and you have a real talent for it.” She replied, moving closer and sitting down on the smooth cement block the city had around every corner
Val's blush started to get deeper, but she ignored it once more. "Thanks, you know, again. But it's not like I can make a career out of what I do. If I was a Low Tier or a Middle Tier I could do it without judgement, but not as a Top Tier. People think that I'm doing it to make money on top of the money that I already have, but I'm just doing my passion. I don't even have a container for them to give me money anymore."
"I get it completely" she replied, her eyes wandering the girl's attire and tail as she adjusted her own headband that held back the fluff from her ears. "I used to work at the cafe right across the street until they fired me, thinking I was just mocking them when they found out that I was a top tier. I just wanted to meet new people and help and feel like real life was like" she replied, her gaze shifting halfheartedly to the sky, her eyelids heavy and hanging over half her eyes
Her ears twitched slightly, as did her tail. "Yeah, they think that, don't they? Just because we're Top Tiers trying to interact with the world normally, we're mocking what they do and just trying to get more money. Like, why can't we do it just because? I'm not doing it because I want money, I'm doing it because it's what I love to do." She sighed. "But what can we do? Do we keep doing what we love despite it all? Or do we sit back and watch it all go by?"
"I guess we just try to find someone as passionate as we are and accept us and until then we just try to ignore it all. I'm trying to find ways to stop my endangerment and maybe then I'll move down a spot. I don't think I'd mind it if I were middle tier. It'd be nice to live in one of the small houses on the beach and just dance and write in the sand all day, even if the sand would destroy my pointe shoes" she replied, her blush brightening ever so slightly. She felt the soft, ocean breeze mixed with some sand come across her face and she cringed slightly, normally being in the jungle and more humid, much less dry climates was her preference. All the salt dried her out, fatigued her.
"You'd have to make a lot of babies to get from Top Tier to Middle Tier. I would honestly be fine as a High Tier, but a Middle Tier would be even better." She sighed. "All I want to do is make music. But soon I'm gonna be married off to another Amur Leopard so that we can keep our species alive. Can you believe that his name's Leopald? He's a leopard and his parents named him Leopald. It's so stupid! It's not even a remotely traditional name. My mum wanted to call me Mei since I was keeping my dad's last name, in order for her to have some part of her own heritage instead of just my appearance. But my dad insisted on calling me Valeriya. I like Mei Petrov better than Valeriya Petrov, but I guess I don't have much choice." She suddenly stopped and blushed deeply, embarrassed. "Sorry, I'm rambling."
(Stalker. Good stuff.)
"You're cute when you ramble…" she said softly, a small, gentle smile coming onto her face before worry and a red blush did when she realized what she had just said. "Not that you aren't beautiful or cute every day…I mean I've only known you for a few minutes but from what I can see you're pretty freaking great" she muttered, her talking speed picking up ever so slightly. "No need to be embarrassed, I embarrass myself enough in an hour to balance out the whole universe so yea" she added, looking down at her feet.
"Hey, it's fine," She replied. "You're cute when you ramble as well. And it's honestly fine. It's nice to know that I have a friend who's like me and not a stuck up bitch or dick. That is, if you'd allow me to call you my friend. Sure, we're both Top Tiers, but you don't have to be my friend if you don't want to be. It'd just be nice to…you know…have a friend who I can confer my secrets in."
She smiled brightly after she was done being bashful. "I'd love to be your friend" she replied, butterflies beginning to form in her stomach. She hadn't had any real friends in her lifetime, most of them were just either trying to get money out of her or were just friends with her so they could tell everyone they were friends with a top tier.
A smile played on Val's face, happiness shining through. Her phone chimed and she looked down at it, her posture melting away as she read the text. "Ugh, I completely forgot about the ball tonight." She sighed. "Wait. You're a Top Tier as well. You should be going to the Eraklyon Family Ball too, right?"
