Zackary made a soft noise as the lulling warmth pulled away from him. He just wanted to be a little sleepy squish… He stirred on the bed and looked at him hazily, blinking.
“Where’re you going?” He asked, still half-asleep.

Asura could feel himself go bright red, and he froze in place again, not sure what to do. "Sorry for waking you… I'm just… going to get a snack," he said, keeping his voice low in hopes that he would fall asleep again.

Zackary made a soft noise and wiggled away from him. “Go get one, then…” He trailed off with a yawn.

Asura let out a breath of relief and got up. He ran a hand through his hair and tried to get his heart to calm down so he could get a snack and go back to sleep. Before he left the room, he couldn't help but glance back at Zachary, and his heart seemed to skip a beat. What have I gotten myself into?
