Addison didn’t bother asking any more questions and let Valhalla be. She shoved her cloth into her skirts and made her way to the shelves. If everything was put back where it belonged the polish should be on the bottom.
She squatted down to reach the shelf and pulled a few bottles and cans off. After reaching to the far back, she came across a bottle of the polish and put back all the other bottles.

Valhalla tweaked some parts of the arm, accidentally giving herself a small electric shock. She'd gotten this before though, some much worse. So she pushed through it, wanting to actually be able to use her powers.

@Meow

Addison found a tray and filled it with the polish. It would much easier to just dip the cloth in a tray, than to constantly open the bottle. She would also not have to worry about using too much.
While balancing the tray and cloth on one hand, she pulled out her small step ladder. To finish polishing the last panels of her Mecha, she’d need to reach further up.

Valhalla pulled her arm on, wanting to give it a quick test. She made vines grow out of the ground, though they weren't strong or big. "Fuck," She hissed to herself, then went back to fixing her arm. It was extremely finicky, having to fix the arm to channel all four elements.

Addison looked over to Valhalla, but it would always be like this when she tinkered with her arm.
She looked back up to the Mecha, half cover with a tarp. After climbing the small step ladder, she dunked the cloth into the polish part-way. She could finally finish polishing these last panels and put up the last tarp.
She worked slowly from the top, down, until the metal glinted. She’d have to do this a couple more times before she could move on, but her future self would thank her for doing this.

"Glasses," Valhalla whispered to herself, grabbing the ones that were on the workbench next to her. They were specially made: technologically engineered to help in the fixing of the arm by her father. They helped, and she was able to fix what she needed to.

Addison stepped back up to the top of her ladder and started again. Her arm already felt a bit tired, but she also had been doing this earlier.
She looked closer at the panel and saw a fleck of dirt stuck to it. If she picked it off she’d have to redo the polish and then it would be uneven.
She looked down to the shelf next to her and pulled out a pair of tweezers.
Her hand shook as she tried to perfectly remove the dirt, but she ended up doing a bit too much damage.
She sighed and reapplied polish, the Mecha would get dirty later anyway.

Valhalla fixed all that was wrong with her arm, slipping it on once she'd done so. She tested it out, all that she could do. She tested the fire and its variations. She tested the air and all that came with it. She tested the earth and everything that was involved. Now for water.

Addison looked back again at Valhalla and smiled, it was nice to see her make progress and fix her arm successfully.
She climbed off the step ladder and moved it over to the next panel. She looked into her tray of polish, realizing it would need to be refilled.
She poured the last of the polish onto the panel and smoothed it out.
Addison thought about the possibility of using up the whole bottle, and how she probably should try and use less polish. But the Mecha wouldn’t look super nice with uneven coats.

Valhalla looked at where Addison was standing. "I still have to test water - in my arm - but I don't want to ruin your mecha. And then I'm gonna have to test it in my mecha as well."

@Meow

Addison looked up to Valhalla once she realized she’d been spoken to.
“Ah, well … I’ll have to-“ she mimed wiping fake tears. “I’ll have to re-polish them again anyway. I’m almost done.”
As much as it pained her, Addison knew that this was necessary anyway. She quickly used up the last of the polish, she didn’t want to hold up Valhalla.

Valhalla decided to surround the mecha in a ring of fire, drying the mecha quickly. "There. Now it won't get wet or ruined."

@Meow

“I guess so … the Mecha will just get dirty later anyways, so it’s not that big of a deal.”
Addison placed the cloth and tray on a shelf and picked up her step ladder. She folded it back up, and returned it to its corner. Now she’d need to wash the other cloth and the tray, since there was no point in throwing them out.

"Awesome!" Valhalla first made a bubble of water, then made it bigger. She made it burst, showing the pair in water. A gleeful smile covered her face as she repeated it a few more times.

@Meow

Addison grabbed the tray and cloth from off the shelf.
She looked up to Valhalla and smiled, the happiness was a bit contagious. Plus, watching Valhalla succeed and be happy, always made Addison feel good.

Valhalla smiled with glee and ran over to her mecha. One of the things she loved about her mecha was that it bigger than most others, even Addison's. She began to climb up the side, the mecha having extremely tiny nooks for the process.

@Meow

Addison was ready to quickly leave to go wash her cloth and tray, but stopped herself.
She still needed to see it rain, and she wanted to continue to admire Valhalla’s joy.
So instead, she placed the items over on a shelf by the exit and walked back part-way to the Mecha.

Valhalla humped into the cockpit of the mecha, the huge thing coming to life with her presence. She tested the three other elements, leaving water to the end. "You ready?!" She yelled, Addison not in her mecha to hear her normally.

@Meow

Addison grinned and nodded to Valhalla. How fun would this be?
It was always amazing when Valhalla did this. Nothing could beat her rain. Even real rain, since that stuff could be dirty and harmful. But here, everything was in control. Not even a shower felt as good as the rain Valhalla made for her, it was special.

As if on cue, water began to fall. It came in droplets at first, pattering on the ground. Then it became heavier, a lighter rain. Then heavier, pouring down.

@Meow

Addison laughed a bit as it started to rain. It quickly went from a light drizzle to pouring down and soaked her through.
It would be nice if Addison could do this for herself, just little moments of happiness spread throughout the day.

The rain began to pour. Pour and pour and pour, as heavy as a severe thunderstorm. This was her favourite thing to do. Water was her favourite thing to control.

@Meow

Addison cupped her hands just to watch the water pool inside and trickle down.
She smiled a bit brighter knowing that Valhalla enjoyed this too. She was content with the fact that both she and Valhalla enjoyed the rain, real or not.

Valhalla laughed gleefully, happy to see Addison and feel herself be happy. They didn't get many opportunities to be happy, what with them having to be on the run all the time just from owning mechas.

@Meow

Addison collected more water in her hands and threw it into the air, and she giggled when it splashed down.
Standing here was like being in a playground as a child, and no one could stop Addison from acting like it.
