(Same tho)
Pain. Macha’s world was made out of pain. Pain and blood, the blood gushing from her back and trickling down the stairs. But she didn’t care. She just forced herself to her feet, leaning on the wall for support, and half walked, half stumbled down the stairs to Tyler. “Tyler, I’m not leaving you. I can’t— I can’t do that. Before I met you, I was this close—“ she brought her thumb and pointer finger close to eachother, “— to killing myself. I couldn’t go on anymore. And unlike—“ her voice wavered “—unlike the other times, that time would’ve been the end. Because of you, I am alive, and I am not leaving you here. It’s either let me stay in this cell with you until they decide to kill me, or get out of here now.” She gripped both his hands in hers, looking him straight in the eye. “You would never hurt me. I love you more— more than I love myself. And I would rather die than let you rot in this cell.”
(whoaooa that was really good)
"But Macha..I..i'm too dangerous. I can't let you stay here.. I love you but you can have a life..I can't. What if I kill you..I don't want to risk it." He cowered further back into the corner, shielding himself from her, terrified of what he might do.
(Thank you!)
Macha shook her head firmly, keeping one hand against the wall and moving towards him unsteadily. She reached for his hand and pulled him to her again. “Tyler— my dad… he’s going to go soon, I can tell. You’re—“ it wasn’t only her voice that cracked, but all of her being. “You’re the only person I have. And if— if you don’t come with me, I’m staying here with you. That’s my final decision. You came to, when you were out there, when.. when the demon took hold of you. You realized what you were doing. You didn’t want to hurt me. Please come with me— I can’t leave you here.” Blood spilled from her back and into the floor, but she ignored it, keeping her eyes on Tyler.
“But I have no control. Once it happens I can’t control what I do and who I hurt. It was all just a blur. An- holy shit Macha you’re bleeding, lay down.” He commanded, standing and moving to help her.
Macha grabbed his wrists before he could do anything. “Later. We need to go now.” All of her energy was focused on Tyler, getting him out of this god forsaken place. “If we stay here, they’re not going to treat any wounds we have.” Her eyes pleaded with him to come with.
(Morning!)
(Morning! How are you?)
Tyler glanced at Macha. He could feel the demon sitting close, waiting. But it wasn’t going to be a problem. “Yeah let’s go. Do you need help?”
(Meh, you?)
Macha practically melted with relief. “Oh thank god, I thought I was going to have to drag you out of here. And I think I’ll be fine.” She grabbed his hand and began to climb the stairs, legs almost giving out.
(Meh, But I get to see my friend Noah today so that’s fun)
“You can’t walk Macha. Here.” He turned to face her and put out his arms out so she could climb on.
(That’s good then, hope you feel better)
Macha hesitated, glancing anxiously up the stairs. “I’ll slow you down.”
(You too :)
“No you won’t. C’mon” He gestured more fervently for her to get on.
(Thanks :)
Macha gave in, allowing him to lift her up. “I’m a lot heavier than I look, sorry.” Footsteps we’re beginning to sound from outside, stirring the flames of her fear. “We should grab a gun from one of the bodies upstairs.”
Tyler lifted her up easily and climbed up the stairs, bending down and picking up a gun. He kept one hand on Machas back and turned so his back was facing any danger that would come towards them. He looked over his shoulder as they walked, gun at the ready.
Macha wished she wasn’t so useleless at the moment. She was putting Tyler in danger by letting him carry her, she should just be running behind him or distracting whoever cane for them so that he could get away, but here she was, letting him endanger himself to help her, again. “Let me have the gun, I’ll shoot anyone behind us, you focus on ahead.”
He bent down and handed her a gun. “I’m not letting anything happen to you. Not again.” Tyler said quietly, facing her towards the wall as they walked in an attempt to keep her safe.
Macha swallowed. To hell if I let anything happen to you either. Footsteos pounded around the corner and Macha raised the gun and shot.
I don't care if anything happens to me. It's you i'm worried about. He let her shoot, then shielded her from any people.
The bullet struck the guard in the leg, and she collapsed to the ground. The guard behind her raised his gun to shoot, but Macha was quicker. Her heart thundered and her vision was filled with blood and death, but her hands didn’t shake.
They were almost at the doors now. Macha began channeling any feelings of strength through her mind and into Tyler’s, trying to help him.
Tyler shook his head and growled a bit, holding Macha tighter and shooting the guard standing by the door in the arm. He kicked open the door and set Macha down outside. "Get in the car, start it. I'll be there in a second."
“Oh no you don’t.” Macha grabbed his arm. “You’re not locking yourself in that cell again, get in the car with me.”
"I just need to take care of something." He pulled away and walked back into the house and down a different hallway. The door at the end of the hallway was ajar and Tyler walked in to find his father sitting behind a desk. "I can't believe you.." Tyler growled, pointing his gun at his father.
(ohmygodohmygod)
Macha let him go, pulling the ring of keys she’d stolen from a guard from her pocket and using one to unlock the old fashioned lock of the car. Be careful. With a bit of difficulty, she started the car, but froze when she felt waves of rage coming off of Tyler.
(legit just came up with that when i wrote this xD)
His father smiled coldly. "You're more powerful then I expected, just like your mother. She got out of control. What a shame we had to kill her." He shook his head sadly. Tyler felt the demon building up inside him. "You made her lose control. It's your fault she went insane. You killed her."
Tyler?? Macha was practically seeing red, but not of her own accord, from Tyler’s emotions. Where are you??
