Alex couldn't tell if he liked the drink or not so he took another few sips. It was so different to what he was used to and yet he somehow enjoyed it.
Alex couldn't tell if he liked the drink or not so he took another few sips. It was so different to what he was used to and yet he somehow enjoyed it.
Micah watched him cautiously as he sipped his drink. "So, let's say hypothetically you did come from another world of whatever. What are you doing here?"
Alex sighed, "My world is in danger. And there's someone," He glanced at Micah before back at the soda, "On Earth who can help."
"Ummm uh, what kind of danger?" Micah wasn't exactly sure of he could believe him.
He sighed softly, “There’s this man, Hyra. He managed to master a type of arts that was dead for thousands of years and created these… beings, monsters if you will, to take over my home.”
"Ah." Micah didn't understand a word he was saying. He just sipped his soda loudly to fill in the awkward silence. He had a drugie in his house and he wasn't kicking him out. What was wrong with him???
“Look, I know you don’t believe me, but I can prove it… I just need to rest for a little while..”
"Ookay." Micah looked down at the floor. He had got crazy, completely lost his mind.
“Thank you…” He mumbled, letting out a relieved sigh.
"I'm, I'll uh..get you a pillow and a blanket." Micah got up and walked to the closet
Alex mumbled another ‘thank-you’, running the back of his neck slightly awkwardly.
Micah grabbed a couple blankets and a pillow. He placed them on the floor beside the couch. "Um I'll leave you to it then."
“Thanks for letting me stay,” Alex sighed, “I’ll prove everything later.”
Micah just nodded akwardly. He sat back down on the couch wordlessly.
