(Mwahaha…….)
Rook leisurely strolled across the roof of the hospital to where two of his henchmen were guarding the life flight helicopter. "Ferris! Gordon!" The henchmen immediately stood at attention, waiting for orders. Rook grinned and spread his arms wide. "Time for phase two men! Launch the helicopter!!" The nodded and climbed into the copter and launched it. Once in the air, and out from the building aways, one of the men shoved a flaming barrel of kerosene into open air. It exploded halfway down, and flames rained down in eth city. Rook grinned. "Yes!" he yelled, fist pumping. Now all he had to do was wait and then initiate phase three.
Cas was about to lean into a kiss, but glanced up "you have got to be flipping kidding me…."
Another barrel went out of the helicopter, but this one exploded with a deafening bang, sending flaming shrapnel in every direction.
Marina jolted up. Her heart raced. "Rook," she muttered under her breath.
(Also, I'm so sorry, I thought I responded on this!)
"who else?" He shook his head "seriously all I ask for is one break!" He yelled at no one in particular
"Shh," she urged him. Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, she turned into Cyren.
He did the same and changed into Fuego "that's all I ask, one day," he stood and made his way to the city "I swear if it's Rook…"
Rook looked down into the city, the same maniacal grin on his face. Any minute now. He would catch sight of them, and then activate phase three.
"You know it is," Cyren replied. Her eyes darted around until – "There!" she pointed. "The helicopter!"
He looked up at where she was pointing "i hate flying…."
"I can take care of him, you help the people?" She phrased it like an order, but it was a question.
He nodded "gottcha," he ran off towards the city
She watching him for a minute. "Stay safe, my fire boy," she murmured, then used her powers to boost her towards the helicopter. "Rook!" Her caring expression had been replaced with one of fury.
He collected the fire with his powers as he ran by the city, watching for anything out of place. "that's different." he spotted a karacene barrel of kerosene a way off "really, fire? against fire?"
(We're gonna have to wait for Joy now)
(Can you respond on Assassins please? ;D)
(Thanks! El is dying, she thinks it's so cute, lol! XD)
(Sorry guys! I had class.)
Rook turned to face Cyren as she shouted his name. He stood on the edge of the rooftop. "That's me!" He shouted gleefully. "So glad you could join me, this will be fun. But how can you fight three things at once with only two of you?" He raised a controller for her to see and then slammed his hand onto the button. the ground began to shake violently. Rook raised his arms and concentrated, using his power to shift the tectonic plate and triggering a massive earthquake.
(It's totally fine!)
Cyren gasped and fell to all fours as the ground shook. She continued to try and move towards him and get the controller he had showed off.
Rook grinned at her. "You sure I'm what you should be worried about?" he said, looking up at the copters. More and more barrels were being cast from the helicopters. "Besides, this was just a starter, I've got the real power behind this, and now you have to decide if you want to catch me, or save lives." He turned from her, levitating into the air so that he remained unaffected and went into through the hatch and into the hospital. It was time to get what he came for.
"THe fu-hey!" he jumped out of the way as a crack split in the ground "alright now that's cool but still!" He lept from one solid area to another, trying to get people out of the way while doing so. "son of an earthquake, how the hell is this going to be fixed?"
Cyren panted heavily, looking from where Rook had gone to the cracking streets and screaming people. From her view point, she couldn't see Fuego, so her heart assumed the worst. Her mind put together plan after plan, but nothing worked. However, one idea remained in her head. It could kill you… She shook off the thought, then looked to the hospital. Whatever Rook wanted, he was getting. It was lose-lose. Clearly, he was planning something. She wasn't exactly acing Chem, but her mind was desperate to put together the pieces. She still couldn't see Fuego, and her mind began to warp. What if he… He could be… Or maybe he was… She tried to control her breathing. No, not now… It had been months since her last panic attack. Now was NOT the time to break that streak… She fought with herself furiously. You're wasting time!
