"Just trust me." Aika waved her off, reaching over to take the helmet off Ava and place it on the handle bars.
"Just trust me." Aika waved her off, reaching over to take the helmet off Ava and place it on the handle bars.
Ava let Akia slide the helmet off. She raked her hand through her slightly tangled hair. "Alright." She said quietly.
"Let's go see what this is about, huh?" Aika turned to look at the cafe, a wave of nostalgia showing on her face.
Ava nodded and went followed Akia into the cafe.
"She's late. Of course." Aika rolled her eyes, making her way to the counter and ordering. "What do you want? On me."
"I'll just have a scone." She said. The shop smelled amazing.
"Alright then. Wanna go pick a table and keep an eye out for Blair?" Aika asked, leaning against the counter.
Ava nodded and went off to find a booth. She found an empty booth and sat down on the inside. People seemed to be watching her but she ignored it, tapping her foot impatiently. She didn't like other people looking at her.
"Wonder what's with all the stares." Aika mused a few minutes later, setting a scone and a coffee in front of Ava as she sipped her own, sliding in next to her.
Ava shrugged, grabbing into the scone and biting into it.
((Hero suit for Blair, or civvies?))
(Civvies.)
There was a jingle from the bell above the door, and Aika looked up, a slightly wicked grin alighting on her features. There was Blair, no suit in sight, as though nobody worthy would recognize her.
Aika did though, of course. It didn't take this for her to. And the funniest part was that Blair, even sliding into the booth across from them. had yet to recognize her. She rarely ever even wore a mask, and she was unrecognizable. "Well hello, miss Pikachu."
Ava looked up and waved shyly. This was the first time she had seen Blair in person for months. This and sitting next to her kidnapper was going to be more than awkward.
"Don't call me that." Blair grumbled, eyes flickering to Ava. Relief showed on her features. She hadn't trusted Aika to bring her with, obviously.
"It's been forever since I've been here. Not since high school." Aika said, playing her usual game of painfully obvious hints.
Ava look between Akia and Blair. She could feel the tension. Blair really was desperate.
"Look. We have more important things to deal with than the last time you came to a cafe." Blair said, missing Aika's eye roll. "We need to figure out what to do about this guy."
Ava sat her head down on the table and started to silently banging her head against it. A lot of things went over Blair's head but this was a new record. Ava shook her head and faced Blair again. "What d-do you have on him?" Ava asked, knowing it was probably little to nothing.
"Besides his name and ability? Nothing." Blair admitted bitterly, ignoring Ava's head banging.
Aika was biting the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing. Ava got it, but Blair never had.
Ava groaned. "Any appearance details that w-would help us track h-him?" Ava asked.
"He's….tall?" Blair said, trying to think. "Really pale, too. Like, abnormally so."
Ava sighed. Like that was going to help her at all.
"Oh, and he had…this tattoo." Blair said, shuddering. "Like…this creature with goat horns?"
Aika stilled, staring down at the table in thought before- "Pan. Greek god of nature, but also panic."
Ava perked up at that. "That will help. I-If he has any criminal record that will b-be included." Ava explained.
Aika didn't respond, too busy mumbling to herself as she pulled out her phone.
"That's good." Blair said, raising an eyebrow at Aika. "It'll be easier to get him while in civilian clothing, hopefully."
