Cindy looked over at Brie. “I always speak like this… see I’m not really this person. I need help… and I don’t know who Peela is but I don’t think she would joke about this…”
“I told you work.” Mina turned around to look at her. “A.K.A. the hair salon. Are you sure you’re ok?” Mina presses her hand to Cindy’s forehead to check to see if she had a fever. “You dont a have a fever…”
(I understand the need to rant sometimes 😂. And that makes sense of picking up how you speak from where you were raised. I was just asking because I was curious)
"Okay, I don't think she's lying, but if she isn't then where the fuck is Peela?" Brie asked. Grayle winced at the cussing.
"I am not sick." Peela said simply.
“If I’m in her body… then maybe she’s in mine…” Cindy said, more on the quieter side. “No, that’s probably stupid.” She muttered.
Mina put her hand back down to her side. “You May not be physically sick but you sure seem mentally sick.” She muttered and turned around to continue down the block.
"No, it's entirely plausible. One of the rules of narrative humor is that the two who swapped bodies will go through a series of trials that would be normally simple for the person in their own form, but it would be impossible for the other. Thus, we can assume some form of comedy to come out of this and also assume that wherever Peela's mind is, she will unfortunately be affected by this as well." Brie explained. "What? That… what?" Grayle stammered. "What?" said Brie, as if she was entirely unaware of what she just said.
“What? She’s going to be going through tests in my body?” Cindy sighed and facepalmed as she just realized that this Peela person was going to have to take her place. And from what she could tell, it didn’t seem like it was going to end well. “Is there anyway we can find this Peela? I was at my house when this happened, getting ready for work. Crap! I hope she doesn’t mess up some client’s hair…”
"What's this about tests? Nevermind. What planet do you live on, we'll pick, well, you, or maybe it's technically Peela now, up and figure it out from there. Okay?" Brie asked. Grayle nodded. "Sounds like the best idea. Lets go," he said.
"My mind is fine. I meditate daily to cleanse myself of any impurities." she told Mina.
“Wait. Where not on earth anymore? How do I leave behind an entire planet and not realize?” Cindy muttered the last part. “Are we at least still in the same universe? I mean maybe not, considering we just literally transported to Not earth.”
“Ok. You’re definitely not you.” Mina stepped into the salon, holding the door open for Cindy. “What’s your name? I just need to make sure you can answer at least this basic question.”
"Earth. 21st century I assume, the clothes are kinda obvious. Grayle, set a course, we're in the time period so it won't take that long." she said. "Come on to the control room. And, er…. while you're still in her body, I'd prefer you didn't touch anything. I don't think Peela would approve much." he told her.
"I am Peela, of the Shi'ayr, daughter of Ezran and Vanra, keeper of Shi'ara and her spirit." she puffed out her chest grandly.
Cindy nodded and awkwardly stood around not knowing what to do with her arms. “How long until we can switch back? It’s kinda weird not being in my own body.”
“You’re kidding,” Mina said, not sure if ‘Cindy’ was telling the truth or not. “You are kidding right?”

"The feeling is mutual. Grayle can show you around after we get to the control room." Brie said, and Grayle nodded in assent.
"I am no child, and I tell no lies. This is an unfamiliar place, an unfamiliar form that I would like to shed as soon as I can, and regain my rightful body." said Peela.
“Ok,” Cynthia nodded and stood there, continuing her awkward pose. “Wait, how big is this ship?”
Mina stood there shocked for a minute before she guided ‘Cindy’ to a chair. She wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do if someone else was in her friends body. Was that even possible? “So if you’re not Cindy, then who are you?”
"Very. It's like, say this were a story. You'd be accusing the hypothetical author of effectively stealing the concept of a TARDIS from Doctor Who except it's not bigger by much, just to contain the entrance Dungeon Dimensions and some other stuff, and while it can travel through time it can't dematerialize and rematerialize somewhere else and we have to fly everywhere and get really shitty jet lag." Brie explained. "That isn't how it is-" Grayle began to protest, but Brie shhh'd him.
"I told you once before, little girl, must I tell you again?" she thundered. Peela was fed up with these blathering fools at this point.
“So it’s pretty big.” Cynthia looked around the room they were currently in and wondered if there were any other rooms onboard just like it. Or how different the other rooms could possibly be. “How long will it take to explore?”
“You’re not in your body.” Mina said blankly, unsure of a proper response.
"A little under fifteen minutes if Grayle decides not to be an ass and show you every single minuscule detail of the place." Brie said.
"That is the decided conclusion. See, Celia, wherever you are, I know big words too!" she shouted upwards.
“So not too long,” Cynthia responded and gave a slight laugh as she added, “I wouldn’t mind seeing almost every minuscule detail. Only because I have nothing better to do.”
“Celia- ah never mind.” Mina muttered under her breath. “Do you have any idea where your body is? As normal as a question that is.. Cynthia might be in your body. Hopefully…”
"Yeah, but the sooner we get you back in your proper body the better. Just-here's a map of the place, try not to lose it. Pick a bunk, there's a couple empty ones so I think you'll be okay. Where exactly on Earth do you live?" Brie asked.
"I do not know. Only fate is to decide that." Peela said thoughtfully.
“New York. Manhattan to be exact.” Cynthia stated. “I was at my house before I… I came here. But depending on- wait is time passing the same here as it is there?”
Mina took a breath, trying to keep herself calm. She couldn’t seem to be getting anywhere with this person who had apparently magically taken over her friend’s body. “Where were you before you appeared in this body? At least where do you last remember?”
