That sounds great!
That sounds great!
Maybe a starter should be put up so everything's set up for this to start? That way we can just jump in when everyone is on. Just a suggestion, now I gotta disappear to go work on Spanish. lol
I was thinking we all just jump in. Does that sound alright?
Yep! Sorry for the odd wording, that's what I was trying to suggest because someone has to start or post first which would be a starter for the RP and all that. I tend to word things so they're confusing.
(That sounds good. Anyone is up to post first. I got some homework to do so it may be a bit before I post.)
Stalking this cause you're my bros from Altir
(lol Hi Euric. Also that's fine, I have to finish some schoolwork myself and it's your RP so no rush! Also I was thinking whoever starts, whether it's one of you or me, since Shadow's idea is Aaron threatens Crimson maybe as the bandit king he stole something from him? Or at least Aaron think he has, since at one point I do have him looking for a pocket watch with some time magic, idk does that sound good???)
( This is why Altir is just misadventures, I'm terrible at adding to plots on the spot. Idk if my idea even works with the time period.)
(Sounds good.)
(I'm sorry guys. I've been just really busy lately and I understand that's no excuse. I'll get it up in the morning. I promise.)
(No worries.) (Also get ready for Aaron to be even more of a mess because I'm going to use him at a further point in my story.)
Nykidia walked down the main street of the town. There was a farmers market going on and she was hopping to find a new hat since she lost her old one a week ago and hated not having her head covered.
(Sorry this is trash.)
(It's good! Hope mine isn't too bad. lol)
Aaron was trying to avoid crowds, staying to the side as his gaze trailed over faces passing by. He got a few odd looks at his disheveled appearance, his hair messy and an exhausted look in his eyes as he muttered to himself, yet he honestly couldn't care less. There'd be time to get sleep once he had what he needed. Though it was doubtful wherever he rested would be comfortable considering he didn't even know the area, just that he was looking for someone matching the description he'd managed to piece together through others. "Brown and red. Tall, skinny, pale… Fire." Aaron muttered, trying to not forget. Turning to another street he dragged a hand through his hair to tame it slightly. His forest green eyes flicked to look in a different direction every few seconds, still keeping a look out for this 'bandit king' that had what he needed, growling something under his breath as he realized he'd come across some selling area. He just wanted to find this king of bandits so he could get out of the crowded streets already, even just finding someone who might know him was better than nothing at this point.
Crimson surveyed the streets below him, his sharp teeth poking at his lip as he searched for his target. He's a fox boy, a little flame told me that someone would be coming after me today, but all I know is fox boy. That is not even remotely helpful, kitsunes can hide their tails. He thought with a snarl, his hand scratching at a patch of red scales that ran across his arm.
Continuing to look for someone matching the description he had Aaron failed to check in front of him, getting startled as he bumped into someone. "Sorry." He mumbling quickly, moving to go around the individual. Yet he stopped as he caught a glimpse of red, spinning around to take a second look. Realizing it was some red head girl(Nykidia) rather than who he was looking for he let out a tired sigh, closing his eyes for a moment to collect his thoughts. Opening them again his eyes resembled those of a fox for a brief moment as he repeated his apology, promptly turning around as he tried to think of a random direction he could head next for his search. Walking off he decided to conjure up his kitsune mask, thinking it might get others to steer clear of him a bit so he wouldn't have to pay so much attention to where others were, slipping it on as he went off to the side again with his gaze going back to scanning the crowds. This time he didn't care for the odd looks so long as they stayed away.
Nykidia looked around and made eye contact with a brown haired male. He seemed to look her over but then turned away, as if he was looking for something. Nykidia shrugged it off and kept looking around the market place.
Crimson gave a chuckle when he saw a Kitsune mask through the crowd. "Oh, this guy has made it too easy. Time to make a scene!" He exclaimed with a smile, summoning his large red dragon wings and jumping down with his wings spread wide.
Aaron stopped at the sound of others scrambling away as something landed behind him, glancing back. He cursed seeing a male that matched the bandit king description, he had forgotten to consider the chance of the winged bandit expecting him to come. Facing him Aaron kept a level gaze, not wanting to consider this a problem just yet, and momentarily looked at the large wings the other had as magic flickered around is own hands. He had been told about fire, but not of what appeared to be more dragon based abilities. He balled his hands into fists for now, controlling the magic.
So far the other was just showing off by spreading his wings, so if he actually wanted to pose a threat he was vulnerable doing such a thing. "What do you want?" Aaron growled, he had been hoping he'd find a way to deal with the supposed king of bandits away from the public, "Are you here to pick a fight? I don't think a market will be rooting for a thief." Even if it got him found he was glad he had his mask on, not wanting the trouble caused by having your face associated with some fight if that's what the skinny male was looking for. Aaron just wanted what had been stolen from him.
"Huh, so I was right, you are the little fox boy the flames have been telling me about," Crimson observed, giving a little chuckle as he watches the boy standing in front of him. Much easier than I thought.
Nykidia looked over as some people screamed. A man with red hair and dragon wings seemed to be teasing a guy with a mask on. As other people began backing away from the conflict, Nykidia started running towards it. God! We can't have one normal day! "Now is not the time!" She whispered to Night.
Technicly Crimson Isn't threatening him.
(He is quickly annoying Aaron with the nickname though.)
Aaron growled, not muttering but a genuine growl, at the comment of 'little fox boy'. If there was something he hated it was insulting nicknames like that, he was a kitsune and wanted to be respected as one. "I don't really care who told you about me. Though considering you came here, I assume you're the scrawny pickpocket I've been looking for." He snapped as the bandit chuckled. Any other day he'd be more reasonable, but he was tired and didn't want to deal with someone he ended up disliking in the first few moments. "Where's the watch?" He questioned, his words more of a demand than anything else. He wanted back his item so he could get out of the area, he'd had enough trouble trying to get it already. He glanced seeing the red head from earlier running over, but didn't pay much attention as he settled his gaze back on the red and brown haired individual before him.
Crimson gave a slick little smile as his eyes twinkled with mischief. "What watch, little Kitsune, that is what you are, right? I don't remember." He chuckled, his body in a relaxed stance as he watched the fox boy grow angrier.
"The one you stole! It's a silver pocket watch that ticks slow. It has some magic a-and-" Aaron stopped himself to pull his thoughts together. He was getting increasingly frustrated, but the male before him was smiling and calm. He tilted his head, not understanding why the bandit hadn't picked a fight like others yet. Aaron didn't even know if the other actually had the watch, but he didn't have any other clues on where to look. He muttered an angry confirmation of being a kitsune before looking over at the red head that had come their way, watching to try and figure out why she approached when others stayed back.
(Crimson's having a grand ol' time not having to do anything to get 'fox boy' angry. Hope this helps to bring Nykidia in.)
"Oh that watch, yes, it is a pretty little thing," Crimson said, crinkling his nose along with a mocking smile. "You're quite boring, you know." Crimson said, jutting out his lip in a fake pout as he crossed his arms.
(Time for me to show how much Aaron changes when having a goal as opposed to wandering like he was in Altir. >:D)
Aaron's gaze snapped away from the red head at the confirmation of the bandit having it, now assured all he had to do was get it back. His already short fuse lit at the mocking act of the other, taking the chance as Crimson made himself more vulnerable to attack by crossing his arms. Shifting to his fox form, strings bound the bandit king's wings to keep him from flying, the kitsune quickly lunging to knock him to his back. That may have been a risky move, but he wanted to be out of here as fast as possible. "You're cocky. That's going to get you killed. You wouldn't find it boring if I tore your throat out, you're just some self proclaimed king." He snarled, yet despite the comment he made no move to actually harm him. He was merely taking his turn getting under the other's skin, though paused knowing his sleep-deprived state could cause some bad decisions. "Where's the watch." Aaron demanded again.
(Reading this back I can't decide if it's good or not. Sorry for not posting a response sooner Lex. I was trying to wait until Shadow posted but this was starting to get buried. ._.)
