Chase couldn’t stop himself, he walked up and wrapped his arms around Tristan lovingly and pressed his forehead against his. “I can’t wait,” He smiled, savoring the warmth Tristan gave him, “I missed you.”
Chase couldn’t stop himself, he walked up and wrapped his arms around Tristan lovingly and pressed his forehead against his. “I can’t wait,” He smiled, savoring the warmth Tristan gave him, “I missed you.”
A sheepish smile crossed Tristan's face. "It's only been a few hours since you last saw me… But I missed you too." He returned the hug nicely, soon sitting back down on his stool. "So… What do you want to do when we get to my house? Watch a movie, or something? Maybe?" He ultimately wanted Chase to pick– after all, he just wanted him to be happy.
“I… I don’t really know, I’ve never done this kinda stuff before,” Chase told him, turning slightly red with a tinge of embarrassment. “What do you want to do?”
(What do you wanna do today?
I dunno, what do you wanna do today?
I dunno, what do you wanna do today? XD)
"Whatever it is you want," Tristan shrugged. "Although, I'm not sure if we have the stuff to do certain things…." He thought for a while, still wondering something. What does Chase like to do?
(….boop.)
(Lol)
“I really don’t have a preference on what we do… you decide, I insist,” Chase said, offering a smile as if to affirm it. He didn’t really know what to do, the only other situation he had like this… it hadn’t been good.
"Okay…." Tristan spun around more. "…I'll make it a surprise." He won't be too surprised…. It's pretty typical to do that… He leaned back, but stumbled as he went too far….
Chase jumped, reached out and grabbed Tristan but not managing to keep his own balance. But he managed to turn so he hit the ground first, Tristan falling on top of him. And their lips inches apart.
Tristan felt his nerves tingle– to be in that kind of position only seemed the slightest awkward…. But to have someone be there for him… He was still getting used to that.
He just smiled and fixed his crooked glasses. "….Hope that fall didn't hurt you too badly…"
“It… didn’t…” Chase responded distractedly, hardly able to think with Tristan so close to him. Lovely. Just lovely. He was lovestruck, and too-award of their proximity. And Tristan’s comforting warmth.
As much as Tristan wanted to just lie there and supposedly cuddle, he rolled off him and got to his feet– he had to save that kind of thing for later. "Glad I didn't break your rib or something…. I may be light, but not that lightweight…"
He held out a hand to Chase to help him up. Can't time go any faster?? He really couldn't wait any longer to get home.
Chase took his hand, pushing away the feelings of slight disappointment at the absence of a kiss. I’m just- I shouldn’t expect kisses all the time, it’s a stupid fantasy that probably won’t ever happen…… He brushed off his pants, chewing his lip a little before he asked, “What time do we leave for your house?”
"Well…. Since my dad is expecting me to practice my piano, he's gonna come around four o' clock… But I thought you were gonna go home first and then have your parents drop you off at my house." In truth, they never discussed that kind of thing, but it wasn't necessarily important.
Tristan leaned back on Chase, making sure he wasn't going to fall over that time. "Yet… It doesn't matter– my dad will be all too happy to meet you, I'm sure…"
“Uh, yeah, that works too,” Chase swallowed as he continued, “Although my um -er- mother,” The word was foreign on his tongue, “is going to work late probably so you won’t get to see her.” Chase couldn’t possibly tell Tristan about his father’s frequent girlfriends, that would only turn him away. Or worse, Tristan might assume that I’m just like my dad going from person to person.
"At least you'll hopefully never have to meet my own mom… She's awful when it comes to guests…." He pulled Chase's arms over his shoulders. "But… She's not gonna be around, so that's good."
Tristan waited a little before smiling. "I seriously can't wait…."
“I can’t wait too,” Chase managed to bring up another smile, shoving away the thoughts of his and his father’s girlfriends. He leaned in towards Tristan and sapped off his warmth, letting out a happy sigh.
Chase made Tristan smile too. "And lucky for us, my dad should be here in about three minutes…." Three minutes???? Time goes too fast sometimes… "And… I do take it you're coming with me?" From the sound of it, Chase didn't want to go back to his own house beforehand, and he understood enough to have it make sense.
“Only -uh- only it you want me to come with you,” Chase told him, biting his lip. Even though he wanted to go with Tristan, he didn’t want to be any more of a nuisance than what he already was.
"Alright. Just to keep it simple, you'll come with me." He stepped away, only to get his stuff together. "Are you ready to go?"
Tristan couldn't help but look at Chase in the eyes and smile. Very first date…. Or… Well…. Hm….
Chase smiled, relief rushing through him and he immediately grabbed his stuff, “Cool, I’m ready. I think this will be really fun,” Chase smiled again for Tristan, about to move closer and kiss the guy, but stopped himself. That’s a bad idea…
Tristan was a tad curious about something…. But didn't feel much like asking the question to ruin the mood. "I bet my dad's out waiting for me…. C'mon!" He took Chase by the hand. "I bet you're just as excited as I am…"
But… What did he say to them???
Chase smiled, intertwining their fingers and following Tristan out of the music room. I’m going to meet his dad… what’s his opinion on people- freaks like me? Chase bit his lip nervously as they walked out.
They went out the door, and as they got closer to the car, Tristan broke away to get in the front seat. He opened the door, and his dad was all to happy to see him. "Hey! How was school today?"
"Good, I guess," He said the usual.
"And…. Is Chase coming with us or are his parents dropping him off?"
"He's coming…."
Chase slipped into the car nervously, biting his lip, “I- um- I— Hi, my n-name is Chase.” He introduced himself, tongue in knots. He wished he wasn’t so nervous, but he was meeting his boyfriend’s dad.
"Well it's nice to finally meet you, Chase!" He put the car in drive once everyone was buckled up, and they were on their way to Tristan's house. "You know, Tristan's been telling me all about you these past couple weeks…."
Tristan held his breath, his face turning a strange pale-pinkish flush. "He is the best– I mean, no one can compare!" It's hard to introduce your boyfriend to them when they don't know about that….
