"Never would I do that. You know you give me purpose…" Tristan rested against him, still holding on to his hands. "…To make you happy… To love you like no other…" Experimenting…. He felt disgusted at the thought of loveless kissing. …sounds like something someone not trustworthy would do… And I trust Chase with all my heart, and I can guarantee he does too…
Chase let out a smile before sneaking a chaste kiss from Tristan’s lips, “I love you.” He wrapped his arms around his- his boyfriend, and kissed him again, longer this time.
"You don't have to tell me twice," Tristan smiled, all too happy to share his warmth with. Chase…. His one and only. "However… As much as we both want this to last, we also know my mom'll punish me if she finds out…" But how does she know I'm practicing every day anyway? He waited for him to let him go, but he wanted to hang on to him, just for one accumulative minute.
“Alright,” Chase forced himself to slowly pull away, “About that… I’m sorry that your mom got mad at you yesterday.” Because of me. Chase left the last words unsaid though, giving a smile to Tristan despite it.
“That’s quite typical of her, though,” Tristan swiveled back, but didn’t continue playing quite yet. “She always finds a way to have a reason to punish me…. even if what I did was right,” He leaned back a bit, making sure he didn’t fall. “It’s just her doing her.”
“It’s not fair,” Chase grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. He wanted to be with Tristan for as long as he could. And if Tristan’s mom was going to punch him… Chase’s frown grew.
“…What’s not fair?” Tristan stopped again. Personally, he didn’t really want to play, but ever since Chase said that he enjoyed his music, he was being tugged in both directions. “Oh, don’t look at me like that….” He reflected his frown. “What’s wrong?”
“Your mother isn’t fair. And I just wish she didn’t pressure you to play the piano so often, I just wish we could cuddle and kiss and snuggle and-“ Chase turned a deep shade of red when he realized what he said, ducking his head down with embarrassment.
Tristan smiled, lifting Chase’s head back up. “Honesly, that’s all I want to do too….” Even he flushed as he did. “….But…. maybe we could… well…” He didn’t really want to call it a ‘date,’ yet wasn’t sure what else to call it. “Get together at my house on Friday or something. I’m sure my dad’ll let me have friends over. He’s a bit… less strict.”
He began to spin around on his stool playfully. “And I don’t really think Mom’ll find out instantaneously if I haven’t been practicing….”
A smile suddenly grew on Chase’s face, and he grabbed Tristan’s hand and leaned in and kissed him. “That’d be really amazing.” His eyes sparkled with joy, joy caused by Tristan and Tristan alone.
Tristan blushed warmly, rubbing his thumb on Chase's hand. "It's the least I could do… I'm sure my mom actually has some kind of outing on Friday night, and so my dad'll be picking me up instead….and… She won't get back until Saturday at noon…." He allowed himself to take a breath. "So…. That'd be very nice if you were able to come over."
“Lemme text my parents,” Chase said excitedly, pulling out his phone and sending the text as fast as possible. “I… I’ve never actually gone on a date before,” Chase admitted, blushing a little bit.
"A-A date…" Tristan glanced around a bit. "I guess you could call it that… But I've never really been on– a date either, let alone… Have been in a relationship." He spun a bit more, just goofing around. Hopefully they'd let him…
“Well…” Technically… “I’ve never been in a real relationship,” Chase told him, hoping he wouldn’t ask. Hoping he wouldn’t have to fpdig up those awful memories again.
He stopped, facing Chase. "Well, I'm glad I could make this a real relationship…" Tristan felt a bit compelled, and he pecked him gently. "But your real love for me makes this just as much as a real relationship as I do."
He caught a glimpse of the clock and he internally sighed begrudgingly. We only have a few minutes…
"Um… Did your parents respond yet??" He hoped he didn't sound too pushy, but he did want to know.
“Oh right,” Chase checked his phone -he had it on mute for school- to find the text. His dad said yes, not that he cared at all, but Chase was happy nonetheless. He’d be able to go with Tristan.
"So….? What'd they say?" Tristan leaned over to see the screen of his phone, but he couldn't really read it in spite of his excitement. "I already know my dad'll let me, so… Can you come?"
He glanced at him with hopeful eyes. Please let this be a date… His heart swelled at the thought of going on a date in general. Wow….
“Yeah!” Chase beamed, wrapping his arms around Tristan for a second -just to feel his warmth- before pulling away to look at the time, “It’s getting late and I don’t want your mom to get mad at you again.” Chase pecked Tristan on the lips, standing up. A date, a real date… Chase was too excited.
Tristan allowed himself to evoke that fuzzy feeling he had in him for so long. "True… I do have to leave…." He picked up his untouched piano book and put it back in his backpack, saddling up. "Well, I'm really looking forward to Friday now." He smiled, fingering at Chase's hand before holding onto it. My first date…. I can't believe it….
“I can’t wait.” Chase said with a smile, giving Tristan hand a squeeze and forcing himself to resist the want to kiss him again. “I see you tomorrow then,” He full on grinned at his boyfriend, excitement rushing through his body.
"I'll see you tomorrow–" Tristan gave Chase a nice hug and pecked him on his cheek before being on his way. But just before he approached the car, he bottled all of that true love emotion away and put on a straight face for his mother.
"Glad you came out on time today," She stated placidly.
"Sure thing." He got into the front seat, continuing to keep his emotions inside and tried not to show them– or she'd find out too easily.
Chase excitedly walked to the music room so he could meet up with Tristan. My first date, I can’t believe it it’s my first real date!!!!!! Chase couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.
Tristan wasn't practicing at all hardly. He wanted to take as much as an advantage as he could when his mother was gone. She'll never know…. No one will know… Except me and…
He thought of his name as soon as he walked in. "Chase!"
