“I was not trying to steal your jewels! And I didn't know you were the Princess at the time.” Lori insisted as her crew laughed. “Some guard pushed me because he thought he saw me taking something and I ran into you as I tried to get away.” she explained. “I admit now that the guard saw right but I had no love or loyalty to the king so I openly taunted the guard and noticed the pretty girl I ran into trying not to laugh at what I was saying. So, I threw a wink her way just before I darted off to lose the guard. Imagine my surprise when I saw her again almost the next day.”
“We know your side of the story, Captain.” Jacob smiled. “We want to hear from miss Aliana.” he pointed out gently. “Please, continue.”
(I am trying to formulate a respone, trust me lol)
(Yeah, don't blame ya. I'm just having a case of writers block for like all my rps rn)
(I am back, kinda)
"You can say you were not trying to steal them all you want. We both know the truth," Aliana giggled in response to Lori's retort. She hummed a little as she thought back to those first meetings with Lorelei, "Anyways, I snuck out of the castle the next day to look for the thief that stole my heart. And I was lucky enough to run into her so soon after I made my daring escape. Lorelei looked as surprised as I did when that happened and she most definitely took the chance to woo the pretty girl from the castle. I believe that was also the day Lori stopped someone from robbing me. Am I mistaken love?"
(Yay!)
Lorelei rolled her eyes at the laugh but didn't argue further. Admittedly, she may have tried to grab a bracelet or ring when she bumped into Aliana at the time but… That didn't matter now. She smiled softly at the nostalgic memories her love was bringing up, even chuckling at the question. “I did. You walked with me, and neither of us realized where we ended up. Until a fellow street rat with tried to steal from you.” she remembered, her smile growing. “At least until I kicked his butt into the mud for trying.”
(I did say kinda lol)
"That you did," Aliana replied with a loving smile on her face. She had almost completely forgotten about the crew around them, so focused in on Lorelei and her reactions. Aliana hummed as she thought before giving another response, "I do not believe after that day any other of the 'street rats' attempted to steal from me. And I have only you to thank for that my love."
(lol fair. you did.)
Lori returned the smile and kissed Aliana’s forehead. “What can I say, I was always a fighter. And it's not every day that a girl like me makes a friend. I had to protect you.” she chuckled.
“That's so sweet.” Charlie sighed softly, reminding the Captain that they had an audience.
"And I will forever thank you for that," Aliana hummed at Lorelei's forehead kiss and she let her eyes close as she got lost in the memories. Though they quickly snapped open when she heard Charlie's sigh and the princess blushed. Aliana was ashamed- No, no she had no reason to be ashamed at what had just happened. She leaned against Lori with a lovesick smile on her face, "Is there anything important that I have forgotten love?"
Lori cleared her throat slightly, blushing a little as well at the reminder but it was more that she was embarrassed she forgot about them. Not about expressing her feelings with the woman she loved. “No. Not that I can think of.” she admitted. “At least, not in regards to our first meeting.”
“Still, it was sweeter hearing both sides of the story.” Marcus smirked teasingly, though his comment was sincere.
"I suppose it would be," Aliana sighed as she relaxed again Lori. It was nice to be able to relax and not be the princess she normally had to appear as. She didn't move as she glanced over at the rest of the crew, "Though I am sure you all know there is more to our story. I doubt Lorieli was able to not speak about me somewhat."
(Sorry, finals hit me haaaard. But I'm here now)
(Yay! Welcome back! Hope finals went ok)
(They did! And I am veyr glad to be back)
Marcus chuckled and shook his head. “Are you kidding? She hardly stops talking about you.”
“We know how you were separated and the importance of the name of the ship. As well as the shanty on the necklace she gave you.” Charlie nodded.
“But we don't have to talk about that right now.” Lori interrupted, holding Aliana close. “We're together now. And I won't be separated again without a fight.”
(…Spring Semester hit me hard? Idk kind of lost interest in writing for a bit, but I'm trying to get back to it.)
(No worries. If you want to continue this, I have no problem with that.)
(It’s good to see you again either way.)
(I would love to continue this. And it's great to see you too.)
Aliana felt her cheeks heat up at the thought of her Lori talking about her all the time. It felt as if Aliana was in a dreamlike state and she never wanted to wake up. She smiled up at Lori, "I'm flattered that she has said so much about me. And, and I will not go back without a fight either."
Lori smiled back and placed a kiss against the former princess’s cheek.
“In that case, we may have to teach you how to fight.” Marcus chimed in. The idea of a Princess trying to fight anyone seemed very unlikely. But fighting was part of the way of life for a pirate crew, everyone knew Aliana would have to learn.
“There’s no rush for that.” Charlie pointed out. “Aliana just joined us. We can take some time to let her get used to the ship and being around us.”
