For once, I'm not gonna play the smol soft twink (well I mean, my character is still kinda a softie but that's besides the point)
What I'm saying is, I would like to be the prince considering I already have a good character for him. Anyways, RULES
1) I have the right to deny anyone, for any reason
2) No overpowered characters >:0
3) Please be able to like, consistently write decent English? I don't expect you to never make a typo or the occasional grammar mistake, but keep it adequate and consistent. You can go ahead and bring a writing sample if you feel inclined
4) Swearing is fine, but steer away from slurs. My character doesn't swear much because of his upbringing, but I don't mind if yours does
5) PLEASE BE AT LEAST SOMEWHAT ACTIVE
6) By all means, ask questions! If you don't understand something I just said, ask! Got an idea for where the plot could go? Tell me! I tend to go into things without too many set plot ideas, so everything is welcome
7) Keep in mind that I'm liable to injure my character multiple times. I just… uh… I kinda just do that a lot. Bear with me lol
8) I reserve the right to add to this list or change it
Uhhh I'll post a temp once someone is interested
hellooo! I'm excited (and completely happy with being the gardener)!
Hellooo! I'll get a basic temp up ^^ I like not having literally everything there though because it lets you be more free with your character
Name:
Age (18-early 20s preferably):
Gender: Male
Appearance (preferably a description since pinterest is blocked on my phone):
Basic personality/morals/values:
Other:
Name: Lloyd Saxon Windsor
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: About 5'8, blonde hair (short in the back and on the sides, kinda swooped up and over medium length on the top), green eyes, very pale, freckles. He's thin with a lithe build. Also kinda important, he's an angel and obviously has wings
Basic personality/morals/values: Lloyd hates injustice of any kind. He cares about people a lot and wants to do the best for them, even if he occasionally has to bend a couple rules to do so. He's fiercely loyal and protective of everyone he loves
Other: He has a younger brother named Nathaniel. Nathaniel is 11 and is kind of the black sheep of the family as he was practically disowned when he crippled his wings (when he was 8). Lloyd cares deeply for Nathaniel and would be devastated if anything happened to him
Name: Tobias Whittle
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Appearance: (pinterest is blocked on my laptop so I never use it anyway lol) Tobias is deeply tanned from almost always being outside, he's about 5'9 and has a lean but muscular build. He has long-ish dark hair, just above his shoulders, that he usually has up in a small ponytail. His eyes are a simple brown.
Basic personality/morals/values: Tobias is kind and quite relaxed, but knows when to be serious. He cares deeply for the less fortunate and has a strong sense of justice - when something is wrong, he'll do his best to fix it, but when it comes to the royal family, he stays out of their business.

I like him! Should I start with Lloyd just finding some roses or something?
Unless you have a better idea?
Lloyd examined the roses in his room curiously. There was no note or anything that he could find, which made it even more strange. He glanced around as though expecting to see whomever had left them. After confirming that the perpetrator was, in fact, not there, he headed out to his balcony.
The balcony overlooked the gardens and he often liked to look down into them, for more reasons than one. He spotted Tobias down in the gardens and started watching him curiously, though he tried to avoid making it obvious.
Tobias was planting a new flower bed, just below the prince's window. He wondered if Lloyd had found the roses he'd left for him yet as he put a young hydrangea sapling into the hole he'd dug. When he'd finished, he stood and looked up at the balcony. The prince was standing there, looking out at the garden. Tobias gave him a wave.
Lloyd meet Tobias's eyes and waved to him, smiling softly. He flirted his wings once before folding his wings tightly against his back. "Good morning, Tobias. How are you?" He asked politely, resting his elbows on the railing and his head on the knuckles of both hands.
"I'm well, your Highness," Tobias answered, bringing a hand up to shield his eyes. "How are you?"
"I'm doing alright as well, thank you." Lloyd kept up his smile and straightened. He stretched out his wings and jumped off of the balcony to glide down to the gardens. "What are you doing?" He asked curiously.
Tobias looked from the prince to the garden he'd just finished planting. "I was planting some hydrangeas," he said, smiling at Lloyd, "but now I'm talking to you."
Lloyd grinned more brightly and examined the flowers. "They're gorgeous. Where did you get them?" He asked, reaching out one hand to gently brush his fingers against the flower petals.
Tobias crouched down to look at the flowers. “A merchant in town was selling them, and I thought they’d make a nice addition to the garden.” He looked up at the prince, smiling. He was glad he liked them.
Lloyd pulled his hand away and brushed the pollen off on his pants. "Well, they're lovely. You've done a great job with this place, Tobias." He turned to look around at the rest of the garden.
Tobias looked to the little hydrangea garden, smiling to himself. “Thank you, your highness,” he said, standing up again.
"No problem." Lloyd glanced back over at Tobias when he stood up. "What are you going to do now? You're running out of places to plant new flowers." He laughed softly.
Tobias scratched his neck. “If I’m being honest, I have no idea,” he laughed a little, “I might head into town, or I’ll find something to do around here,”
Lloyd nodded a bit. "I… uh… I'm not doing anything right now, so I could always go out to town with you. Um… if you want me to, that is. I wouldn't want to intrude."
Tobias smiled at him, blushing a little. “You’re not intruding, I’d love some company,” he said, “We can head over now, if that works for you.”
Lloyd nodded again and glanced around. "Sounds good to me. Is there any particular way you like to go?" He asked curiously. "I usually fly, so I'm not as familiar with the land routes…"
