(Sorry!!!!!)
Harry couldn't help but chuckle when Finn jumped in excitement, wondering how someone could be so cute. He's so cuteeeeeeee. He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Finn say something. "Oh–not really, but it's nice. At least, it's less awkward, considering we could probably talk about something in common, unlike with a girl."
(It's okay <3)
"Oh that's for sure. Some of them really… just don't understand dance. So like, I grab their waist to lift them or I just get close in any way and then they're like 'exCUSE ME? I have a BOYFRIEND'. It's like, honey, I don't even like women so you don't need to worry sweetheart." Finely never got to rant about that since most of the time, he was either around said women or he wasn't really out to his family.
Harry laughed, leaning against the wall while crossing his arms. "Well, it's mostly our fault. Men have sexualized women so much, and then we complain when they get mad about it," He mumbled. Holy fuck, Finn is gay. Finn is gay. Finn is gay. Finn is gay. I'm gay. Wait, no I'm not. I'm pan, but fuck girls for now.
Finn nodded in agreement. "Ah, that's very true. I can't get too mad at them." He smiled a little. He then giggled a little. "But maybe I should have a large poster in the studio I'm in that says 'I'M GAY'. Then the only thing they can be unhappy about in this area of things is that specifically, not dancing. If you want to win then we can't dance like we're at a middle school dance."
Harry giggled. "Well, you have to deal with the straight boys now, who think you're just a giant pervert," He said with a sigh. "If you get close to them or anything they'll be like 'Dude, I know you're gay, but like, can you not?' Even though, you see other straight guys straight up slapping each other's asses."
"Guess I can't please everyone. But hey that's definitely not what I'm here for. I'm here to make a winner out of you, so let's get to work, ey?" Finely smiled. He sat down on the floor and pulled out his phone. "Did you like that transition?" He giggled, but he stopped a few seconds later. "So I'm gonna play the song for the group opening dance then I'll start teaching you that. Then I'll play a few songs for you and we'll decide on one for our first dance, sound like a plan?"
Harry chuckled and nodded. "Sounds great," He replied with a smile. "And that transition was beautiful, you should get an award." He sat down on the floor in front of Finn, pushing his hair back with his hand as he looked around.
A smile grew on Finley's lips as he searched for the song on his phone. "Thank you, thank you. I'd like to thank my friends and family. And especially my dance partner for this season. I hope to see you again, maybe this time winning the ultimate prize this season." He said, playing along as a joke. He found the song and made sure his phone was still connected to the speakers. "Okay, here's the song." He pressed play and it started.
Harry chuckled as he clapped for Finn before getting quiet so he could listen to the song. He was really happy that Finn was his partner this season and wondered what good he had done. As he listened to the song, he kept glancing at Finn. Stop, you stupid bitch. You fall for every guy you see and then cry about it later.
(I know I haven't replied for a couple days, but I also won't reply for the next week, possibly two. I've been having trouble replying to things and I've been out of it for a few days. So yeah, I'll be inactive for a week, possibly. Sorry about that.)
(It's totally fine!! Take your time and respond whenever you want to! Take care of yourself!)
((Aaahhhhhhhh!! So did I kinda forget about Notebook? Maybe. That took a lot longer than I ever thought, I sincerely apologize. I won't be super active still though, at least not as active as I was before the unexpected hiatus. Once again, I'm very sorry about that.))
Finn was busy looking at his notes of the dance, glancing at Harry every now and then to see his reaction to the song. He was so much happier that usual, even happier than with he got into the semi-finals two seasons before, and that's saying something. What was it about this guy that made him so happy? Who knew and he certainly didn't. Just as he was thinking that, he glanced over at Harry again, this time looking right into his eyes.
(It's fine! Take your time!! Take care of yourself!)
Harry slowly rocked back and forth as he listened to the song, not sure what to do with his body. He kept glancing at Finn every other second, wondering what the man really thought of him. As he listened to the song, he saw Finn looking at him, accidentally locking eyes with him. He quickly looked away, blushing softly as he used his hair to hide his flushed face.
(Thank you so much!)
Finn looked back to his phone as well, smiling to himself. Again, what was it? The song seemed to drag on. Finn was convinced the song was actually ten minutes instead of only four minutes. But he checked the song again and it was, in fact, still only four minutes. But as long as the song seemed, it ended and Finn sighed. "Okay, time to get to work. You ready?"
Harry glanced at Finn when the song ended, nodding softly and pushing his hair back. "Yep." He stood up and glanced at Finn again, wondering what he would do. As he waited, he just wanted to disappear, wondering he got so flustered just because of a small glance.
"Perfect! So this is a quickstep dance. It should be pretty easy since it's the first thing of the entire show." Finn explained, setting his phone down somewhere before taking Harry's hands and starting to teach the dance.
Harry nodded, his ears turning pink when he took his hands. He forced himself to focus on the dance, scolding himself for thinking that way. What's wrong with me?
(Time skip?)
(Sure!)
(Perfect!)
A few hours later and Finn had taught the whole dance, now it was just a matter of memorizing and perfecting it. They were taking a break, Finn settling with laying on the floor with all of his limbs sprawled out. "How're you feeling with the choreo so far?"
Harry sat down while leaning against the wall, glancing at Finn when he heard him talking. "It's fun, just need to memorize it and get the expressions right." He knew he was supposed to be tired but he wasn't that tired, was it because of Finn?
"I'm glad it's fun. This is definitely one of the better opening dances. But just you wait 'til later in the season, I'm gonna plan a lot of fun moves and things." Finn sat up so he could see Harry, a bright smile on his face. "In five minutes we'll start up again, k?"
Harry nodded, his heart skipping a beat at the smile. "Sounds great. What type of fun moves do you have planned out?" He asked with a small smirk. "And how are you so sure we're going to be one of the better opening dances?"
