"Don't worry, Bladee won't hurt you-"
"Says you" Bladee interrupted
"Hush. He's too small and sweet to hurt anyone. Not sure if all cats eat strawberries, but the ones I've met seem to like them ^^" Strew continued.
"Don't worry, Bladee won't hurt you-"
"Says you" Bladee interrupted
"Hush. He's too small and sweet to hurt anyone. Not sure if all cats eat strawberries, but the ones I've met seem to like them ^^" Strew continued.
The cat seemed satisfied by this, and it approached to eat the strawberry.
Strewberry set the strawberry down in front of her
"Hmm.." Bladee hummed.
The cat bent its head down and nibbled at the strawberry.
Strew smiled at it
"This is boring. I'm gonna go kill something" Bladee said and hopped away
"Why am I the one he chooses to trust" Strew said, with fake anger, though it was obvious she really cared about the alien-like blue feline.
The black cat looked back up at Strew and meowed quietly. The silver key and chain around its neck stood out against its dark fur.
"Huh, whatchu got around your neck kitty?" Strew looked at it.
"Oh, you must have an owner. Are you allowed to be out this late?" She seemed slightly worried for the cat, but soon remembered the pure amount of housed cats she's met outside at night, and calms down.
The cat purred sweetly and watched Strew with wide eyes. It tilted its head and went back to nibbling the strawberry.
Strew smiled at the cat. A genuine smile. It was pretty obvious she loved cats. Although, dogs and hell hounds are more stereotyped for demons.
"Such a sweet kitty. Never seen you around before though, you must be new. I hope you enjoy it here"
The cat gave a sweet meow and padded forward to lick Strew's hand.
(I'm thinking she hasn't come out with the announcement about the cat and the key)
(Ohh, that'd be a surprise for Strew lol)
She gently patted the cat's head.
"Man, it's late. I should probably go to bed. Is that alright kitty?"
(Hehehehe)
The cat bowed its head in response. Then, it turned and bounded back out of the alley and up the lane.
Strew gathered her thoughts for a few moments, then walked to her house, a small one at that, completely candle-lit, but Strew never bothered to light them, so she just bathed in the darkness and she went to bed
The cat returned to the residence of Eve Springett and shifted again. Eve, even more tired from her shift, shuffled over to her bed and fell asleep immediately.
(lol i opened this with my tablet pen)
In the morning, around 7am this time, Strew went to the cafe as usual, but this time got tea.
Eve, running late this morning, rushed into the cafe at 7:05 am. She made eye contact with Shrewbarry and hurried over to her. "Hi," she greeted, sounding breathless. Her hair was windblown, and while that would be a breaking factor for other women, it only made Eve look wild, alive, and beautiful. The wind had also risen a healthy pink blush to her cheeks.
Watches her, happy to see her again. But already nervous about the barista.
She is wearing a pretty "I slapped this on in two seconds" outfit.
Only Eve didn't go to the counter. She could feel the eyes of other patrons staring at her, but she didn't care. "How were your 'things' yesterday?" she asked.
She glanced up at Eve, slightly panicked, but calms a bit knowing it was Eve. Though the panic was still present.
"It was.. fine??" She eventually said
Eve nodded. "I think I've had an idea. For how to get most people to stop bothering me as much for now."
"Oh? What's that?"
An exciting look painted Eve's face. "I use my cat. I could tie a key on a ribbon around her neck, and whoever is able to catch her and take the key from her is the one I will be with."
"Ohh, I think I saw your cat last night. She's sweet" Strew says, slowly getting over her small panic.
Eve arched her eyebrows, pretending to act surprised. "You did? That's interesting, I'm not sure how she got out."
(Fjfjfjjjjjjjj I didn't fall asleep until ~7am so sorry for late response)
"I didn't think she was supposed to be out. She didn't seem to used to the place" Strew didn't bring up Bladee.
