Marithen and Esmeralda looked at each other worriedly for a moment. Then, Marithen turned to Vē'Êtherñøth.
“If you can, alert as many cities and settlements in Ethrin as possible. Tell them to prepare, and to hide as many citizens as possible. We must lock down all of the cities, manually and magically, to protect everyone. If the Baron cannot find anything to feed on, then he might return to sleep,”Marithen said.
Esmeralda glanced at Marithen with a somewhat disdainful gaze. She didn’t much like the idea of hiding, but she understood Marithen’s intentions.
On’nyosh considered what all he could do to help, primarily because he wasn’t in the mood to hide. He could call on Madam Gidālia, or Boromaxus even. But, with what little he knew of the Baron, he suspected that one would refuse and the other wouldn’t survive.
Another individual came to mind after a moment. An old scholarly vampire who had once been a priest. Vahnōkar. Could he possibly have a clue on how to defeat the Baron? Or, at least, avoid him?
Though, from what it looked like. There were others in the throne room that knew more of the Baron than he did, and it nagged at him.
“Okay, can someone remind me who the fuck the Baron is? I vaguely remember the name, but I can’t fucking think of where I heard it before,”On’nyosh requested.
