For once, Ëvêāhn has to agree with Vē'Êtherñøth.
"She raises some valid questions. Answer her, or I will answer for you. And the answer I give might not be to your liking." they say, also walking up to Cass.

When Radiant is awoken by Ëvêāhn, she starts, and then realizes what happened.
"I… I know you. Cassiel. Why do I know your name? How do I? I've never…" her words trail off as she realizes something: she has met this particular vampire. As a matter of fact, she was notoriously brutal…
"You. You're her. You're the Red Mist. You are one of Ëvêāhn's siblings." she snarls.
(For future reference, I've asked Balance for their permission to use a particular image, and they've agreed.)
Cass winces, wishing she hadn't met this particular arcangel.
"Yes. I am. However, I am not that person anymore. Look at me. Do I look as violent as I used to?" she asks, looking Radiant directly in her eyes.
"The answer is no. I don't." she states after her question, not even bothering to wait for Radiant's response.
"I never realized… what have you done, Red?" Ëvêāhn says, horrified.
"When… when did you get here," they ask. "Why did you come here?"
A thought strikes them. "Let me see your shoulders. Now."
"Wait… Red as in, Eternal Red? Or another Red? Also, how could something so innocent be that violent if she was Eternal Red?" Vē'Êtherñøth asks, confused.
"And, if she is Eternal Red, why aren't we all dead already?" she adds.
(Now, we should wait for Anastasia… we've gone a bit far ahead of them.)
(Yeah, lol!)
(Me: Hello? I know 4 of us are alive, but what about the rest of us?)
(Me: Lol, I'm alive and well! Just waiting here, chilling.)
(Me: I think I'm still alive. Not 100% sure about that yet.)
(Me: Lol! I've been alive for quite a bit now. I lost count of the years quite a long time ago.)
(Me: Should I be concerned as to when you came into existance?)
(Me: I’m awake again. Holy shit! Plot twist from fucking hell. I love it! Lmao!)
On’nyosh watched the conversation in bewilderment, then approached as well. He looked between Ëvêāhn and Cassiel.
“You two are related? What the fuck? How? This fucker is a twelve foot tall jackass, and you are a gorgeous, petite woman,”On’nyosh blurted.
He paused, considering the hints and information that Red Mist was some violent creature of sorts. He looked at Cassiel, wondering if she was truly this creature. How much older was Cassiel then? How could she have become a vampire in the first place?
One glance at Vē'Êtherñøth reminded On’nyosh that anything could happen. He looked back at Cassiel, and was even more intrigued by her.
If Cassiel was this Red Mist character, then he didn’t care. Caution be damned, he didn’t want her to leave again.
Tiamat banked, turning around in one swift movement. The clouds still stretched onward, cascading across the northern reaches of Ethrin, spots of lightning flashing within them.
The black bird quickly returned to their lair, landing on a branch, waiting. They watched the clouds, silently calculating their next moves.
(Me: Lol, I know! It's amazing what so many characters can do to a roleplay!)
(Me: Plus, another plot twist from hell, lmao! Actually quite literally.)
"I-I didn't know! I was mortal, I think. I know I'm a vampire! No heartbeat, fangs, speed, strength… fuck, I'm blind!" she says, while complying and pulling down her shirt to bare her shoulders.
As she does so, the shirt rips. Her chest is a latticework of scars… some of them apparently newer than others. She looks afraid. Because they aren't just any scars. Oh, no… these are the scars from a demonic contract. Those apparently random scars are actually Infernal… and they glow red. A red as deep as a pool of blood in the night. And her mark… the mark that appears to be the one made for the Chosen One of the prophecy… is a brand. And if she were to turn, those scars would be mirrored on her back. Her neck, her ankles… they start appearing all over her body, revealed for all to see.
"I'm not directly related to Ëvêāhn… but I'm…" her voice cracks. "All immortals are related by blood somehow… and my father… he's the worst…"
The words come out in a rush. She feels incapable of stopping them.
"On'nyosh. Please. Believe me when I say nothing I did was by my choice." she half sobs, looking at On'nyosh, then turning back to everyone else.
"Please… all of you… believe me…" she sobs, finally breaking down.
(Me: Oh, fuck! Shit just got real, lmao!)
Vē'Êtherñøth notices On'nyosh's glance, but ignores both that and his words, instead focusing on Cassiel's body.
When the marks start to appear, Vē'Êtherñøth gasps and nearly collapses, putting a hand against On'nyosh for support.
"Wh-what the fuck?" she says, nearly inaudible.
"Who are you? What… what kind of monster are you, to have allowed this? Why this entity in particular? And what, pray tell, do you mean when you say your father is the worst?" she asks, walking up closer to Cassiel and running a finger across one line of Infernal in particular.
And so this contract is closed, in acceptance by illegible and Cassiel, the one who rose again at the time she should not have. So it is written, so it is done.
"This line… this name… why is it so hard to read?" she wonders aloud, scared of what this means for her.
Ëvêāhn looks terrified now.
"No… this is not mine Red Mist… but someone much, much worse than that… your name, you said it was Cassiel? Maybe you should have told us that was just the shortened version of it, Cæssîēlläsøsâ." they say, backing away in fear.
"What… are you? Nobody who has met you has ever lived to tell. So tell me. What are you?" they murmur, knowing this creature can hear everything he says, every single pulse of blood through his veins. After all, she wasn't called Red Mist for nothing…
Sílsthrïm and Æsûē look horrified as well, choosing an absence from the room rather than stay there with the creature whose name is well known… more so than Tiamat's name.
We'll have no part in this. Good-bye. We hope never to cross paths with you again, Cæssîēlläsøsâ. they say mentally, looking at her directly before disappearing.
(Me: Oh, this is just getting deeper and deeper. I love it! Evil cackle)
On’nyosh puts a hand on Vē'Êtherñøth‘s, both to comfort her and steady himself. He had never seen Infernal markings in such abundance before, and even then, he had only seen the marks on Infernal creatures.
When Vē'Êtherñøth moved, so did he. He kneeled next to Cassiel and put a hand on her shoulder, gently lifting her chin with his other hand.
“Lovely Cass, you don’t need to beg forgiveness from me. I’ve seen enough shit to know that nothing is ever what it seems on the surface,”On’nyosh cooed.
On’nyosh glanced at Vē'Êtherñøth, a bit concerned. He then noticed the line in particular and understood what she meant. Though he was still rough with Infernal, he could read it well enough.
When Ëvêāhn backed away and the monarchs fled, On’nyosh realized that he was missing a major piece of information. He didn’t recognize this longer version of Cassiel’s name.
What was he missing? Shit, he hated when he didn’t know what was going on.
(Me: Whoa, nice twist for Cassiel there! I wouldn't have been able to get that from her name, lmao!)
(Me: More twisties! Lmao, this is getting very horrifying for Cass!)
(And okay, Anastasia!)
Cassiel, looking truly devastated now, disappears and reappears elsewhere… at Tiamat's lair.
"Father… I'm sorry… I truly am…" she says, dropping to her knees behind Tiamat.
"Please… just spare them all your wrath…" she asks, not daring to look up at her father.
(I’m caught up again, and holy shit! Happy screaming. I love all the twists!)
(SAME! It's amazing how we all seem to be of one mind when it comes to timelines and backstories into infinity knots and pretzels, lmao!)
Ëvêāhn looks up again, having looked down when they noticed On'nyosh walking towards Cass.
"Where… did she go?" they ask, suddenly more afraid of Cass than they have been of anything else in their long life, including their parents.
"What did she mean by all of that…" was all they said after that, choosing silence once more.
(Me: WTF? How did all of that become a thing? What insanity did I miss?)
Radiant looks on, then disappears when Cassiel's true name is revealed.
That's why I thought she seemed familiar… her father, of course! she thinks, rushing to her quarters and grabbing a few specific books containing information about Tiamat and Cassiel.
When she gets back, the first thing she notices is that Cassiel is gone, as well as the monarchs, On'nyosh is kneeling on the floor with Vē'Êtherñøth beside him, both looking stunned.
"What happened? I wasn't gone for that long, and Cassiel has already absconded with our rulers!" she exclaims, furiously dropping the books and marching up to Ëvêāhn.
(Me: Evil laugh)
When Cassiel disappeared, On’nyosh’s eyes widened and he turned to Vē'Êtherñøth.
“Where the fuck did she go? Can you find her?”he burst.
His mind whirled out of control. Where did she go? Would she leave again? Why? He didn’t care what she was!
He was so flustered that he didn’t even notice Radiant’s entrance. He just wanted to know where Cassiel was.
Tiamat turned to Cassiel, having expected her return. They had known it would happen eventually.
You know there is nothing that will dissuade me. They are destroying the balance of nature. That must not happen.
Vē'Êtherñøth looks on in confusion, startled when Cassiel and the Monarchs disappear.
"Where did my Lord and Lady go?" she asks, confused and worried.
When radiant bursts into the room again, Vē'Êtherñøth jumps up and rushes her.
"Where were you? Aren't you the Commander of our armies? Go command the armies to find Cassiel and bring her back!" she practically screams.
She then steps back and takes a breath.
"Sorry… I'm just terrified." she apologizes, going back to On'nyosh and hugging him. Not in a flirty or romantic way. She just… hugs him, like she's holding on for dear life to something in the ocean, trying desperately not to sink and drown.
"And I'm sad to say I couldn't even sense her when she was here. Only my own demonic energy." she replies.
Cass stays kneeling, accepting Tiamat's words.
"Yes… I know." is all she says in reply, getting up and going over to Geneviera.
"Do you ever regret going to my father for help, Geneviera?" she asks suddenly. "Like, do you ever wish you'd known of an alternative?"
“Fuck,”On’nyosh breathed, gladly accepting Vē'Êtherñøth‘s hug.
He held onto her tightly for a long moment, just trying to get his thoughts to slow down enough for him to do anything but breathe. An idea popped in his head, and he gently escaped Vē'Êtherñøth‘s hug.
“Hold on a minute. I know someone that could find Cassiel,”he said.
On’nyosh then stood and bolted out of the throne room and the castle.
