Raven groaned, standing up and pacing back and forth. "I'm so boooored," she said.
Raven groaned, standing up and pacing back and forth. "I'm so boooored," she said.
He shrugged, leaving back on his elbows. "I am not sure how to help."
Raven sighed. "I want to go back to the castle, but Maggie doesn't go man-hunting until later."
"Doesn't she try to avoid me?" he asked, watching her pace back and forth.
She snorted. "Yup. Apparently, you're not manly enough. Too feminine or something."
"Well, I can just stay with you. She will leave you alone if I'm around," he said. The quip about his manliness didn't really matter. He's never been concerned of trivial things such at that.
"Eh…" Raven didn't pursue the matter further.
"So you want to be left alone?" he guessed.
Raven shrugged. She gave a flip in the air. She landed on her feet and continued pacing.
"I heard that the princess was going to be near that area." He said after eating a couple more grapes. He opened the packet and poured warm water in his plastic bowl and poured the powder inside before mixing it to get instant soup.
"You did?!" Ree yelled, lighting up. She'd always had a fascination for the royal family, and she adored Princess Raven. "Then let's go, X! I wanna go see her!"
(btw im not always on when you are and there have been many a time that my character has been left behind simply because im in a different time zone and was sleeping
moto is aware of this, so ill charge you with making sure it doesnt go too far ahead when im asleep, mainly because you know the rough times of when im on)
(Yes ma'am!👌)
(Of course!)
(So where is the story going so I can know how to respond.)
"Yeah, but let's eat first. We can't do anything with low energy. Maybe we could catch up with her and El'eye." He countered, drinking the soup.
(I have no idea.)
(so right now i just need to get the four of them together before i can do what i want)
She stared at him, waiting for him to finish the soup. "Ugh, you're so slow!" She said. "Can you hurry up? I want to go now! Before she's gone!"
"Fine, fine, ok then." He calmed, putting his hands up as if he were stopping her. He took the bowl and placed it at his lips before drowning down the whole thing. "Ready?"
Bounding up to the front door, Ree pulled her coat on. "Of course I am!" She giggled. "Now let's go! I don't want to miss the markets before they're all gone!"
Xavier put the stuff away and pushed it under the table before getting up on his feet to leave the room. He opened the door for the both of them and closed it behind them. "How are we getting there?"
"Well, we have legs, don't we?" She replied, asking as if it was obvious. "We can walk, silly!" She locked the door, shoving the key into her pocket. "Come on! Let's go!"
"Well, I didn't know, with all the excitement you have I thought we would've been running through the streets." He answered, shrugging. He followed right behind her as they left her home.
Ree processed what he said. "We can run, but we have to be careful." She closed her eyes and listened. "I know the fastest way without too much traffic. Let's go!"
Xavier followed after her, wiping his hands together to get rid of the crumbs from what he was eating. "Well, what's the way?"
"You'd think that after living your whole life in this city, you'd at least know your way around," She said, shaking her head. "But anyway, it's this way."
Xavier mentally face-palmed himself before remembering exactly where and what terrain they were going through. He made sure to avoid each stray thorn sticking out of nowhere and loose branches.
She dodged all of the weeds and thorns, her stature and flexibility allowing her easier access to avoid them all. She turned to see Xavier struggling to dodge some, and tried not to laugh.
