He nodded. "Mm, okay. We'll see how this goes, I guess."
He nodded. "Mm, okay. We'll see how this goes, I guess."
She nodded, smiling at him as the music started and the figures on the screen started dancing. But she still waited for the arrows.
(Happy Birthday, Ice!)
(thank you!)
He waited as well, frowning just a little.
(Hope you had a great birthday day!)
She smiled, humming along with the music as she followed the games rules and danced on the lit tiles.
(I did, thank you!)
He did his best, cursing faintly each time he got it wrong.
(Glad to hear it!)
She simply furrowed her brow when she misstepped but she still enjoyed the game… Though it was a little frustrating as well.
He did his best, sighing and mumbling curses.
She bit her lip slightly as she missed another step but it just made her more focused.
He kept his eyes on the screen, but kept glancing down to see the arrows beneath his feet.
Her eyes likewise darted quickly between both the screen and the dance pad. Though she wondered if that actually helped or distracted the players.
He frowned a little bit, nearly tripping himself, but recovering quickly.
“Are you ok?” she asked, pausing her dance for a moment to check on him.
He nodded a little. "Mhm. Just lost my balance."
She hummed in acknowledgment as he straightened up. “Makes sense. This game really keeps you on your toes.” she chuckled, dancing with him again.
He laughed. "Yeah, it certainly does."
She smiled at him, turning her attention back to the game screen.
He smiled back, narrowing his eyes for a moment in concentration.
She bit her lip slightly as she focused on the steps the game was showing her.
He frowned a little bit.
She grumbled softly when she fumbled a couple of steps. Overall, their scores seemed to be closer on this game than others.
Probably they were closer because this was a more level playing field, in terms of their abilities.
Considering this game relied on physical abilities rather than his magic or her technological prowess, that seemed like a fair assumption.
He frowned a little bit, but kept doing his best.
She almost smiled a little as they kept going. She was just having fun at this point, not really caring how many steps she missed or if anyone else was watching.
