"Oh." She said shyly with a shy smile. Just a moment later, Penelope hugged Eli, once again blushing. She had found the perfect time and she took the chance.

Wrapping his arms around her with a smile
"You okay?"
He practically whispers to her while resting his lips on the top of her head.

She smiles into his chest. "Of course, I just… I've wanting to do this for a while today." Hugs were almost her kryptonite, but she loves them.

"Oh okay"
He says as a smile crosses his face, hugging her tighter and stroking her hair. He didn't hug very often, which was surprising to some people, but he loved hugging her. He felt like he needed to protect her with his life, which he was willing to do.

Penelope, on one hand, didn't want to let go she loved the feeling of being encased in someone's arms, but on the other, she felt slightly bad for leaving Harley alone and waiting in the car. She didn't say anything though, instead, she also hugged a little tighter.

"Do you think Harley stole my car?"
He says with a slight laugh, feeling bad fir leaving her out there.

Sitting in the front seat, she had the radio turned up listening to 21 pilots and the killers while singing along. Making sure the windows were rolled up, then getting embarrassed when they weren't.

She giggles a little. "I don't know… but I feel bad for leaving her in the car alone." She said hesitantly.

"Yeah….i can go get her if you want. I might take a nap so you guys can talk. Or I'll fix dinner while you guys are talking and the pies cooking."
He says looking down at her, wanting to see her face.
"It'll be a welcome back gift. A nice dinner with pie"
He says smiling as he actually kisses the top of her head now.

She smiles, looking up at him after he kissed her head, pink showing up on her face. "That sounds wonderful! But I would want to help you… how about I go get her this time?"

"Heh, okay. First, whaddya want to eat tonight. As your first meal in…a long time"
He says letting out a little laugh. His hands now around her waist, not particularly meaning to.

"Hmm…" As always, she lightly bit her bottom lip and her eyes looked around the room. She couldn't remember what she liked to eat, except for one thing. "I don't really know… but I do like corn." Penelope, still looking up at Eli, made eye contact and smiled. She just realized that his eyes were the same color as the flowers on the tree and the few that were still in her hair.

"Hmm….i can think of something"
He says with a smile as he ruffles her hair, then noticing the cut on her lip.
"Ah, are you okay?"
He says putting a finger under her chin lifting it up, not meaning to be seductive or anything like that (although he probably seemed that way) but trying to see if she was okay.

Her face turned a darker shade of red. She then realized what he meant. "Oh uh… yeah I'm fine!"

Noticing her red face, he backs away feeling really bad now.
"Sorry….um…you should go get Harley…."
He says looking away

"Oh okay…" Slightly sad that he backed away, she sent him a small smile and left to get Harley. She stood by the door cooling off her face before going outside with a smile. She noticed Harley jamming in the car and let out a relieved sigh. Walking over to the car, she knocked on the driver door window to ger Harley's attention.

Screaming her lungs out as she looked over at a figure standing right outside her window, relieved to see it was only Penelope. Turning down the radio and rolling down the window, black parade playing in the background.
"Hey! Is that pie burnt?"
She says looking up at her with a smile.

She didn't have to bend over to look through the window, as she was short enough. "Are you okay?" She asked when Harley screamed. "Oh, no it's not, Eli forgot to turn on the oven! Do you wanna come inside? He said he's going to make dinner, so you and I can talk!" Penelope smiled.

Turning off the radio, and smiling she reaches for a button on the side of the door
"Sure, just lemme-"
She says as she rolls up the window and opens the door.
"Elis pretty stupid sometimes i gotta admit that"
She laughed to herself as they walked up to the house.

She laughed a little while walking with Harley. Before Harley could get to the door, Penelope opened it for her and gestured for her to go inside.

Giving her a nod and a smile as she walked in, Elijah had put on a little apron while he boiled a big pot of corn and cut up some other foods, (i am no cook XD)
"Elijah in his natural habitat."
Harely says with a laugh

Penelope laughs with Harley. "So he's a cook then? Do you cook?" She smiled. "Way back when I was quite the cook. I would mostly help my grandma cook, but I would also do it a lot myself."

"oh, no i dont cook, other than cereal, wait…you dont cook cereal"
She says looking down to the ground like she was actually thinking about cooking cereal.
"Eli! Do you cook cereal?"
She says running her fingers through her hair
"what? No"
He says laughing as he gets back to work.

Penelope started laughing. "I mean you could cook cereal if you made the actual cereal yourself!" She says with a smile as she went to sit on the couch.

"YOU are a genius, ELIJAH how do you make cereal?"
"you….put milk in it?"
"oh….nevermind"
Harley says then she turns back around sitting on the couch with her.
"so….do you think youre gonna start going to school?"
She says putting her legs on the coffee table.

"I have made granola before, which counts as a cereal to most people!" She says with a smile. "I could teach you!"
"I… I'm not sure. I feel like I have enough knowledge for now. I can always go to college later, like whenever I want to I guess. Are you in college?"
