“Aliens don’t exist?” Tio spoke, still keeping her tone neutral. “You can look up into the sky, and see those thousands of stars. But you don’t believe they exist?” Tio shrank back into somewhat spherical shape, before moulding out what seemed to be a limb. A small one, almost like a hand. She felt around the container.

“I am no robot. I am a being just like you that requires oxygen to survive, albeit not the type of oxygen on this planet.”

"You are not like me in anyway," He narrowed his eyes slightly, watching Tio carefully, "You look like a blob of slime, the only thing we have in common is that we're in some form, alive," He sighed, "So, if you really are an alien, why are you on Earth?"

Tio pulled back her ‘arm’ again.

“How do foreign species end up in places they are not supposed to be?” Tio asked, to no one in particular. “They latch onto a carrier to get there, of course! Carrier could have been anything. Something alive, something non-alive..” Tio began to list of possibilities. “For my species, the Nusite, we take any opportunity to get off our homeworld.”

“So when a shuttle landed on my planet, I took the opportunity to travel off world. One thing led to another, and now I’ve ended up here, on a planet..” She paused. “..With oxygen my species cannot survive in for very long.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

Jack nodded, still not quite believing it, "Sounds like a crazy story to me. If a shuttle from my planet landed on yours, then clearly people in the government know about you. But why not tell the world that we're not alone in the universe? Doesn't make any sense."

He sighed, "If I take the container off you're not gonna attack me, right?"

“It wasn’t a shuttle from your planet, I’ll give you that much information.” Tio quickly said. She reverted back to the snake like form she had been in before. “Sure,” she responded.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Great, so there are other aliens that might come and invade Earth. Wonderful." He mumbled. Jack slowly lifted the book off the counter, and then the container.

“How assuming of you to say that they’ll invade.” Tio remarked, then stretched out some tendrils, pulling herself alongside the counter. She stopped, lifting what seemed to be her head up and observing the apartment.

“I’d like to also say before things get awkward I only have around 40 hours left before I run out of oxygen. Frankly, this atmosphere is not that survivable to my species.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

Jack raised a brow, leaning down to what he assumed was Tio’s eye level. Hard to find when she didn’t have any eyes that he could see, “When you’ve seen enough movies as I have, alien always invade, or want to,” He sighed, “Is there anyway you can survive in this atmosphere?”
