Anya smiled. "Thanks. I'm sure you'll look great in all of your newly assigned clothes, too."

Spencer's foot tapped impatiently on the floor of the plane. He and Anya Victoria were flying commercial this time, and he was not such a big fan of it.

“First class is way better than this,” Anya Victoria muttered to Spencer James. At a normal volume, she said, “Oh, I’m so excited! This is a new beginning for our family.”

"It definitely is," James agreed under his breath. "That it is, my love, that it is."

//yes. That. Thank you.

“I can’t wait to begin our new chapter,” Victoria said happily, taking James’s hand in hers.

"Neither can I," James murmured, waning closer and brushing his lips against hers.

Anya decided to be that couple (you know the one,) so Victoria kissed James back, prolonging it for several seconds longer than necessary.

James chuckled and cupped her face in his hands. "That was nice."

“Indeed,” Victoria said happily, a blissful smile on her face. “I would do it again, but I don’t want to be that couple.”

//all I could think as I wrote that was “too late, hun. you already are.”
Also, I was thinking, for Victoria, that her character could be kinda bubbly and happy. Like the cliche new bride, but not a new bride, you know?

(Yeah. I was thinking they would still be, like, blissfully in love.)

"Darling, we already are," James laughed, kissing her cheek.

“You do have a point,” Victoria blushed, twirling a strand of her hair around her forefinger.

(Lol. It's an easy personality change, too.)

"Of course I do. I'm always right, aren't I baby?" James said with a wink.

“Always,” Victoria agreed. “Except for when you go shopping. Any kind of shopping,” she added teasingly.

"Hey, what about that necklace I bought you? I thought you liked that one," James said, feigning offense.

“It was very tasteful,” Victoria said, laying a hand on his arm. “If a tad bit… extravagant. But yes, I do like that one.”

"In my defense, I do not have the mind of a woman, and someone doesn't like to tell me what she likes," James teased, pecking her lips with a smile.

“Good point,” Victoria conceded, placing her hand in his. “To be fair, you don’t tell me, either… but it’s pretty easy to deduce…. so never mind.”

James laughed and squeezed her hand gently. "All right, I guess that's true."
