they're not fully fleshed out but it's roleplay-worthy
Cool! Do you wanna start?
yeah! go ahead
Uhm… (I was asking if you wanted to start but ok… just give a bit cause now's not a good time to think up a starter…)
this is going to be a trainwreck if i start it, dude. i'm wonderfully, fantasmarifically horrible at starting
So am I…. but I'm also good at saving trainqrecks instead of starting them…
hh okay? do you trust me to pull a location and scenario out of my ass
Yes.
great! it'll take me a second, but one starter coming right up
Cool!
j hovered gently on the fire escape, bare feet making no noise as they reached down, broke the window lock, hefted the window up and stepped inside. desperate times call for desperate measures
they dropped from the sill and scanned the room.
anything worth theft? doesn't look like it so far…
a creak made them turn sharply
Arthur yawned as he slipped down the hallway, he'd been trying to fight sleep for the last hour, and it hadn't been working so well, so he figured a cold shower might wake him up. He yawned again, tugging at his shirt, wincing when he heard the floorboards creak beneath him.
j pulled their cloak and dark, swirling skirts closer to them as they spotted the figure coming down the hallway. they disappeared into the nearest shadow, only their charcoal eyes could be vaguely made out in the gloom (i assume its night and the house is dark?)
(Sounds about right)
Arthur froze, semi-alert. He'd heard something in the main room, but what? Walking almost silently he scanned the shadows cautiously for any intruder. He stopped on the far wall, just making out a couple of spots of gray… Either it was his vision going spotty, or there was someone there.
j quickly closed their eyes, breathing silently through their nose.
i knew this was a bad idea. desperate times my swishy ass. how can i convince him he's… tired. too tired to think straight?
Arthur blinked, realizing the gray spots had vanished. Yawning he shook his head, I'm too tired for this… he thought, pulling the rest of his shirt off and heading back to a door in the hallway, opening it and rustling around for a towel, then heading to another door across the hall.
success!
j waited until he disappeared before quietly toeing into another room and tucking a few things of moderate value into a duffel bag, silently sneaking back to the window and waiting for any noise.
(do you want him to catch j or do they rob him a few times and he catches them on like the 4th-5th)
(Arthur's probably gonna catch him, I got an idea here…)
Arthur sighed, growling to himself as he slipped out of the bathroom and went down the hall again, Where is it…. He thought, trying to think of where he'd left his slippers.
(pokey)
(damn sorry i've been Busy)
j held their breath, hefting the window up in one fluid motion and scrambling out as fast as possible.
fuckfuckfuck okay!!!! we're fine we're out the window we… have no way down without breaking all stolen objects. damn.
(No worries, Also note that I do poke things regularly… If it stresses you out pls pls pls please tell me….)
Arthur froze, having seen something near the window. flicking on the lights he headed over. Noting that the window was open he poked his head outside, "What the???" he said, seeing the guy outside with a bag full of his stuff.
(oh i thought you were calling me pokey lmao. feel free to keep bumping when i dont respond. also, j is genderfluid and rather androgynous looking, also wearing a skirt.)
j smiled sheepishly, reaching with their right hand to sign "see you later!"
they then threw the bag back inside the window, hitting arthur, and leapt from the fire escape with their tar-black skirts billowing behind them.
