"Why?" Sita laughed a little, tilting her head at her.
"Why?" Sita laughed a little, tilting her head at her.
"She's big on promoting her place; she likes saying the pop star Michi only eats there." Michi laughed.
"Oh. Wow. I can see that," She admitted, smiling and going up to collect their orders. "Here you go."
Michi smiled, the smell of the food wafting up.
"Thanks again for this."
"It's nothing, honest," Sita said, starting to walk out of the shop.
Michi smiled, following her out.
"Well, it's something to me."
“Alright,” she compromised, making the way back to her apartment.
Michi slipped her hand into Sita's. Everything was perfect.
Mumbling to herself, Sita unlocked her door and gestured Michi inside.
Michi stepped in, a grin on her face.
"It's not much. But it's mine," She said, shrugging and putting the box down.
Michi giggled.
"More than I got."
"Really?" Her eyes widened, then she shrugged again. "You'd think someone like you would have more."
"Well, I live with my sister, and about… Twenty? Yeah, about twenty robots, plus a few other humans. And the front part of the house is a diner." Michi shrugged.
"Still, I don't think I could make it on my own."
"That sounds cooler than here," She admitted, sitting down on the couch.
"I mean I guess… Still, you don't get a lot of privacy." Michi sat down next to Sita.
"I guess it's just a matter of point of view."
"Fair enough," She said, wrapping an arm around Michi. "I never really had anyone else around me, except maybe Nicholas, but we're not that good of friends anyway."
"It's tiring." Michi smiled.
"It's nice to get moments like this."
"Everything is a moment like this once you live here," Sita admitted. "Gets too quiet sometimes."
Michi chuckled.
"You ever feel like that, just give me a buzz. I'm sure the people back home would love for you to come over some time."
"Thanks," She said with a smile, putting her head on top of Michi's.
Michi pulled herself closer to Sita, resting her head beside Sita's neck.
Sita only sighed happily. She couldn't believe her luck within the past few days.
Michi breathed in, context. After a moment, she spoke.
"Hey, I was wondering… How did the people at the hospital react to the man being completely healed?"
"I gave it credit to the recent defibrillator updates. They just went along with it. Doctors aren't scientists, they don't question much as long as the person is healed."
