"What did you find?" Alex asked when he noticed her smile.

"What did you find?" Alex asked when he noticed her smile.
“Wires,” She replied simply, tilting her head back up to look at them, “And they look like exactly what I expected to find.”
Alex grinned, "That's great! Theory proven."
She smiled and nodded towards his leg, "Mind if I keep looking? It's been too long since I've seen something that's this intricate."
"Go right ahead," He chuckled, "I don't mind."
Immediately she went back to looking with a nod of thanks, her focus now on the different parts that helped his leg move instead of the wiring.
While she was doing that, Alex payed more attention to his hand, looking at the mechanics he could see in the outside.
She continued studying his leg, messing with bits of the mechanics and hoping it didn't do anything that couldn't be reversed.
At one point, she hit a wire that made his foot twitch a little to the left and then to the right.
Jemma giggled when his foot twitched and watched it for a moment with a tiny smile, forgetting Alex was even there.
Alex didn't comment and stayed still, smiling softly down at her. another wire had his leg bending just a little before straightening out.
She went back to work on his leg after a moment, careful to push the wires that controlled his leg to the side.
From there you could finally see the pulsing, blue battery that most of the wires were connected too. It was a fairly big size, and glowed brightly.
Her eyes lit up when she saw the battery and she glanced up at him, "This is the battery that powers your leg?"
Alex looked from his hand to the leg to her and nodded, "Yeah, it is. There's more over there if you want to look closer at them." He nodded to the table.
(Just a heads up, I won't be on at all today or part of tomorrow besides maybe a few posts)
"Can I?" She asked, looking to the other batteries then down to the one in his leg, "I've only seen batteries like this once, and I didn't get to see it close up."
(Aight)
Again, Alex nodded, "Go ahead."
Setting the tools down next to his leg, she stood up and walked over to the batteries. “How often do you have to change these out?” She asked, picking one up and studying it as she walked back to where she was before.
"Every two months or so." He replied, adjusting himself a little on the couch.
Jemma nodded, turning the battery over in her hands as her mind whirred, "Does the glowing stop when they're dead?"
"Yeah, they do. As they start to die out the colour starts to fade. It ends up just being a grey-black when they're out of juice."
Once again she nodded, standing up and putting the battery back before sitting back down with a smile.
“So… did you fulfil your curiosity?” He asked, chuckling a little.
"Yes, thank you," She said, looking around his house before glancing at him again, this time with the thought of jobs for her and her brother, "So, do you know if there is anywhere on the city that's looking for workers?"
