"An apple?" River asked with his voice going higher.
"An apple?" River asked with his voice going higher.
"Well, I've had an apple, love. They're cheap and you can fit one in your pocket without people noticing."
"Okay, good- wait what do mean by fit them in your pocket?"
the head counselor called 10 second warning.
"Let's go and beat the rush okay?" River took Cas's hand and lead him out of the dinning hall to the bung. "Okay so, did you steal those apples Cas?"
"Um…" Cas looked away, silent for a few seconds. "M-Maybe… but only for necessity!"
"Hey love?" River asked.
"…Yes?" He asked tentatively, glancing up at River.
"Please, don't ever steal again," River asked and tucked a stand behind Cas's ear.
Cas looked down guiltily. "I-I won't… I… I didn't want to do it in the first place, b… b-but I had no other choice… I wasn't old enough to get a job…"
River pulled Cas in for a hug. “I know, I know, just don’t do it again okay?” River kissed the top of Cas hair.
He nodded shakily, hugging River tightly. "I'm… I'm sorry…" He whispered.
“It’s okay. It’s okay,” River rubbed Cas’s back.
Cas buried his face in River's shoulder. "I n-never did it unless I really needed to…"
“I know love. I know,” River smiled.
"M… M-My dad just never really bought food, so I had to…"
"I get it, love, it's okay," River softly connected his lips with Cas.
Cas kissed him back briefly before hiding his face again. "I'm sorry…"
“It’s okay,” River chuckled. “No need to cry I’m not mad.”
He nodded a bit. "I-I know… you just… you seem upset about it…"
“I’m not upset, I promise just surprised is all.”
He nodded again. "That's fair… I just hope nothing comes of it…"
"Alright people are starting to come in let's hop on my bed," RIver motioned to his bed.
"Alrighty…" Cas climbed up into River's bed with him before it got too crowded.
River stretched and yawned. "I'm a little tired. I won't go to team game and besides, we have that thing to talk about remember?"
Cas nodded. "Yeah… I'm not too interested in team games anyways."
“Awesome,” River spread his legs outthink turned to the side away from Cas.
