Name :
Lillian "Lily" Mellony
Age :
10
Gender :
Female
Likes :
Sunsets, cider, her little sister, autumn, leave, dancing, listening to music, blood, fooling adults, pain
Dislikes :
Jerks, sickness, anger, feeling helpless, her age, heat, her stepdad, death
Personality :
Lily is the sweetest, most mischievous thing you can ever imagine. She's incredibly clever for her age, more so than most of the adults she knows, and she learns fast. She's deadly, and fast, and loves tricking people. She's very innocent in some aspects, and definitely not in others. She can put on an act, making her seem like the most precious thing in the world, although she never stops that scheming mind of hers. She's very brave, very loyal, and loves putting people who look down on her in their place. She's a bit of a masochist, too.
Brief Appearance :
Lily has short brown hair that is a little bit passed her chin. It looks like she cut it herself, and is messy most of the time. She has wide, beautiful golden eyes, that always sparkle with mischief and cunning. She has very pale skin, and bags under her eyes from little sleep. She is skinny as a twig, and underfed. She is adorable, so, so cute. She usually wears bright sundresses, to enhance the innocent look of hers.
Their Wish :
That her sister would be healed of the cancer that is slowly killing her.
(Alrighty, this introduction part finished faster than I anticipated but that’s perfectly fine! Shall we start people?)

(Maybe…? Or maybe I’ve created an actual cult, who knows?)
(Ooh, really? Well, if you did, my full admiration XD)
(The other two ready to start? If not, it’s fine :D)
(I'm ready!)

(It's alright XD)
(Okie dokie!)
The Shrine of Tears, a place that has been said to grant impossible wishes by those who have visited it, was a topic of discussion across the internet and around town. Those who have wished there said that it has changed their lives for the better and that their wish did come true…
However, the Shrine was rumored to be on the brink of destruction due to the officials’ disbelief of the shrine. Today was the last day that the shrine will be active. A month after, the shrine would be gone.
Lily brushed her hand over Rinna's shoulder. Her sister, just 4 years old, was pale and sickly, and looked like she should be dead already. "It's okay," Lily said, making her voice sound as grown-up as she could manage. "I found some clues when I stole that guy's phone. I have to go and find the Shrine, and get you better! And then we can leave."
Her sister shook her head weakly. "Don't go! What if Daddy comes back?"
"Then do what I taught you," Lily said, pulling her ripped backpack over her shoulder. "I can do this. I'll be back as soon as I can, and you'll be better."
Fun walked slowly down the road, hands shoved deep into his pockets as he did all he could to avoid others. He's heard some people talking a about the Shrine. If what they said was true, maybe he could get his sister back. Unlike him, she hadn't survived the… Captivity. Sometimes he even envied her. She hasn't been broken like him. Still, what he wouldn't give to see her again, to hug her and hear her say everything was going to be alright. He winced back when someone bumped into him, going even faster now. The sooner get got home, the better. But first, he needed to go to the Shrine.
Elliot walked down the dark street. Everywhere he walked he heard people talking about a Shrine of some sort. He heard that the Shrine was a magical place that could grant any wish. Eliot smiled at the idea. If it was true. He only had one true wish. But if it didn't he was stuck with his life forever. Elliot walked slowly to his home. He didn't want to rush. If he came home early, that will be extra time of "Heck on earth" as he called it. He eventually got to the front porch of his house. He already heard the yelling, and ear-shattering noises that were coming out off the house-hold. He walked in quietly, trying not to get noticed but his plan failed. His mother had been waiting for him for the whole time.
With the stolen phone she had, Lily mapped out the way she would take. She only had her ratty old backpack, containing nothing but another dress and a thin blanket. It was all she had. She walked down the sidewalk, ignoring the stares of passing adults. She had grown used to them, after she had had to learn how to take care of herself.
The Shrine was empty, no one around; only the shrine and the ritual altar.
Interesting…
The sky turned a darker color as drops of rain started to fall. It would soon turn to a full-on storm but thankfully, the winds were not too horrible. The temperature drop was, though.
Let’s see who will come in this sort of weather…
Pulling her thin jacket around herself, Lily walked faster, head bowed into the wind and rain. Her hair stuck to her head and plastered to her face. She put a hand up to protect her eyes, and tucked the stolen phone safely away into her backpack. She risked a glance up, and spotted what seemed to be the altar. Was she there? Was this the place? It had to be.
Determination ringing through every inch of her, she forced her short legs to move faster, until she was almost running towards the Shrine.
Elliot backed up and ran out. That was close… Elliot thought, calming down. Guess ill head to the Shrine… He though walking in the direction of it. When he was close enough he so someone there. "Really? In this weather?" Elliot thought out loud. He looked at the person and walked to the shrine, Ignoring the strange person. He didn't know what to do. How will he activate it? Is there something I have to do? He thought to himself, walking closer and closer to the shrine.
Fun froze when the rain hit him. His eyes went wide before squeezing shut. No no no… Fun started running, head low as he tried to ignore the rain. Even now, he couldn't forget that water was pain, it was death. He ran for the Shrine, not even realizing his feet were carrying him there anymore. He just needed to get away from the rain.
The three would arrive at the Shrine, all would be sheltered by the Shrine’s closed indoors. The ritual altar stood majestically in the middle of the large room, giving off a subtle godly aura.
In front of the altar was a stone inscription.
For those who would like to wish at the altar… may you fill up a cup to your right with your tears and set it on the altar. You can then wish for whatever and it will come true
Fun was trembling then he managed to get inside the Shrine, clutching his arms to himself as he pulled away to the side. He shook as he tried to calm down, the memories trying to push themselves into his mind. When he finally managed to open his eyes and read the inscription, dread filled him. Tears? Fun hadn't cried in months, much less be able to do it on command. He took a small step forward. Would he be able to do it, even for Marie?
The Shrine was empty, which was weird. Lily thought that there would have been more people around. But it must be the weather. Shivering, she pulled her threadbare blanket from her bag and wrapped it around her shoulders, moving closer to the Shrine on small, silent feet. She heard a noise behind her and jumped, looking back to see a ragged-looking man. He ignored her and walked right to the Shrine, where she saw an inscription.
She tapped the guy on the shoulder. "Please," she said in a sweet voice. "Will you tell me what this says? I can't read bery well."
