Lionel drifted after, trying and failing to fish himself out of the sea of euphoria that he was currently submersed in. They emerged from the bar, the cool night air a stark contrast to the heat that had been between their bodies just moments ago.
Sebastian led Lionel out to the parking lot, where an old, beat-up car sat. But when he reached for the small remote in his pocket and clicked a button, the light around it rippled before a sleek, black, futuristic car emerged from where the old car once was. It was all black, with purple accents on the wheels and tracing the body of the car
Lionel’s eyes widened as he let out a low whistle. “Damn. This is your ride?” He stepped closer to the car, clearly admiring it.
Sebastian hummed in agreement, grinning as he watched Lionel in his fascination. "We can always make out in it, if you like it so much," he chuckled
“Ah, no,” he declined quickly— too quickly— face heating up. “Remind me, where were we going to go?”
"Just a hotel a few blocks away," Sebastian answered before pulling open the door to the car
Lionel climbed into the passenger seat, trailing his fingers over the dashboard. “Woah..” he murmured, half to himself, clearly in awe. “How do you even have the money for this?”
"I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you," Sebastian laughed. The dash was styled after older muscle cars, as was the rest of the vehicle, so it wasn't as high tech as one would expect
This time, Lionel couldn’t resist flashing a wide grin that revealed his wickedly pointed fangs. “Oh, I’d like to see you try.”
Sebastian raised a brow at that. "If you're into that," he hummed, returning the grin with one of his own. He started the car, and it purred to life before falling silent, and Sebastian pulled out of the parking lot
Shit. That remark had definitely not gone as planned. Lionel felt his face heat up even further, his hands anxiously gathering up bunches of his sweater. “That’s— That not what I meant.”
"Don't worry, we'll be at the hotel soon. Then you can show me exactly what you mean," Sebastian purred, smirking as he turned the corner, an expensive-looking hotel coming into the view. He pulled into the parking lot, parking and disguising the car before getting out
“That’s not— No promises, remember?” But Lionel’s voice was oddly choked up… which only worsened as the hotel came into view. “Holy— that’s where we’re staying?”
Sebastian hummed in agreement. "The bottom floor is a nightclub, but the rest of the floors are hotel rooms. And considering I'm a bit of a VIP, we'll be in a room in a few minutes," he said before shutting his door
“Remind me to tag along with rich people more often..” he breathed, clearly in awe. “That’s… woah okay..”
Sebastian grinned, wrapping an arm around Lionel before beginning to lead him over to the side entrance. “You’re cute when you’re in awe,” he hummed
“O-Oh.” Lionel swallowed, almost stumbling. “If you say so..”
Sebastian grinned, giving Lionel’s body a squeeze before pushing open the door, leading him into a lavishly decorated hallway
Lionel’s eyes jumped from luxury to luxury, plush red carpets, beautiful wallpapers, lamps with a gold finish fixed to the walls. How could anyone afford this? How could anybody possibly afford all this?
“Don’t look so surprised, love. Everything on the bottom few floors is fake. Who would put nice things on the same floor as a nightclub?” Sebastian chuckled before walking him over to the elevator
“Fair point,” Lionel admitted with a loose shrug. That was when he realized that Sebastian had called him… ‘love.’ Calm down, you idiot, this is regular procedure for him. It’s not a big deal. You’ll never see him again after tonight.
Sebastian grinned, pressing the button for the top floor before stepping into the elevator. He tugged Lionel in with him, and as soon as the doors closed he pressed their lips together for the second time tonight
Lionel’s initial instinct was to flinch back as images flashed before his mind’s eye; a boy with mismatched eyes and blond curls, large, roaming hands, a secretive smirk— blood staining the front of his shirt. But as soon as he’d taken a stumbling step backwards, he regretted it. Sebastian bad certainly kept his promise of helping him forget— every time their lips touched, it was as if he was a drug.
Sebastian was enjoying kissing him, grinning against his lips. He wrapped his arms around Lionel's neck, pressing their bodies together with a small chuckle. He loved kissing the other, loved just how flustered he seemed to get
Lionel settled his hands on Sebastian’s shoulders to keep him where he was before they went too far. He relinquished as much control as he dared, letting the other, more experienced man lead them through the kiss.
