(awesome
How would he find them?)
(awesome
How would he find them?)
(maybe he wanted to try and talk to Lionel or smth and just let himself in because they forgot to lock the door?)
(oh I completely misread that sorry, my dumbass brain read 'Sebastian's ex' instead of 'Lionel's' and I was confused since Sebastian just hopes around from hotel to hotel/mansion to mansion. But yeah, that works
How far are we skipping?)
(lmao it's all good, and maybe to the next day or that night?)
Yeah sure
Should they just be eating in the kitchen? Or cuddling in an arm chair?)
(either works)
(alright)
"Eat," Lionel instructed gently, motioning towards the open box of pizza. "We payed fourteen dollars for that, love." The second part was said lightly, jokingly, masking the real reason of why he had suggested they order food rather than make it. His pantry was…. not impressive, to say the least.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Sebastian chuckled, grinning a bit as he opened the box and pulled a slice out. He took a bite out of it, grinning as he did so
Lionel lifted his slice (meat lover's—of course) and took a large bite, though he made sure to cover his mouth with one hand. Yes, Sebastian knew about his bloodlines, but that didn't cancel out his self-consciousness at the thought of someone seeing that much of his fangs.
Grinning and wiping his mouth with a napkin, he leaned forward to press a kiss to his boyfriend's cheek. But just as he did, the front door behind them creaked slowly open.
Sebastian immediately turned towards the door, dropping his slice before a gun materialized in a whorl of smoke and what seemingly resembled rose petals. "Who is it?" he demanded, on edge a little due to the neighborhood not being that great
Lionel's eyes first snapped to the gun in Sebastian's hand—the one resembling his tattoo—then sped to the door.
And the whole world stopped.
"Who are you?" Sebastian demanded, seeing how Lionel seemed to panic. "Who are you?" he demanded again, furious someone had gotten into the apartment
Lionel's glass slipped from his hand and shattered on the floor.
The man, tall, scarred, and sporting a head of curly blond hair, seemed to be equally shaken. His mismatched eyes flickered back and forth from Lionel to Sebastian, one hand tightening on the doorknob.
"Lionel?"
"You–You know this guy?" Sebastian asked, looking over to Lionel now but still keeping the gun trained on the stranger
"Simon," he breathed, jolting out of his stupor and jerking the barrel of Sebastian's gun down.
The man hesitated. "I should go." His eyes went to Sebastian, emotion flashing across his features. "You've moved on."
Sebastian still looked completely and utterly confused, only lowering the guns but not putting them away entirely. "Who is this guy, Lionel?" he asked again
Lionel stood abruptly. “Wait-No—Simon—Stay. Just—Come in.” His voice wobbled dangerously as he turned to Sebastian. “This—This is Simon. My…….. ex boyfriend.”
The one I told you about. The one who’s parents scarred and tortured when they found out about us.
Sebastian's eyes widened at that, and things clicked into place. Slowly, he gave a little nod, the guns dissolving again the same way they came
Simon closed the door behind him and took a few tentative steps in Lionel’s directions.
Normally, Lionel would have hugged him and broken down. But now that Sebastian was watching… he was afraid. Afraid that his boyfriend would misinterpret the situation. So he stayed perfectly still, blinking back tears.
Sebastian eventually just stepped aside, eyes wide with concern and a bit of worry. Why were they being so…weird? He didn't like it, and his finger twitched for a trigger to squeeze, if only to fire a blank at the floor
Both men flinched at the same time. And all of a sudden, Lionel couldn’t take it anymore. Without stopping to think, he stepped forward and pulled Simon into a tight hug.
Sebastian watched this with growing confusion. Why were they acting like this? He had never missed an ex like that before
Lionel pulled away almost immediately, frantically looking him up and down. “You’re—You’re supposed to be dead,” he choked out, taking a tiny step back.
Sebastian's eyes widened, lips parting before he shut his mouth again. Well, that explained things, or at least he thought
Simon started to take a step forward, but jerked back at the last moment. “I’m not. I—“ His eyes flickered to Sebastian. “Can I talk to you, Lionel? Alone?”
