"Yeah" said firiko grabbing another fruit before going to another shelf to get the map they'd used yesterday. "Just as soon as everybody's eaten something, and everybody is ready to go"

Ren nodded, swallowing his mouthful, “I’m pretty much ready to go whenever so.” He shrugged and took another bite.

Reed nodded, saying “I’m ready too.”

Firiko nodded grabbing another fruit, before heading over to a window. "Alright then, We'd best get going" he said beckoning over before jumping out to land on a very very large tree branch. (Think sidewalk width, minimum.)

“I never new trees could grow this big.” Ren mused as he followed, jumping onto the branch and wobbling slightly before regaining his balance.

Reed nodded before climbing out the window. He had done this so many times before. He easily followed the other two.

Firiko noticed how 'at ease' Reed was, but shrugged it off as he started to walk along the branch like it was a highway, "Come on you guys! we have a ton of ground to cover before nightfall!"

“Alright! Calm down we’re coming,” Ren sighed and picked up his pace, “Why are you so impatient?”

Reed pushed past Ren, and caught up to Firiko, leaving Ren behind.

"I'm not impatient" said Firiko, "I just don't feel like dilly dallying"

Ren sighed and hurried to catch up, “Same thing.”

“Let’s just keep going.” Reed said.

(Timeskip a little? like a few days?)
Firiko strode on, "Just think!" He said, "This entire forest is infested with monsters and most are on the ground wishing they could eat us!"

“Good thing we’re up here then.” Ren muttered.
(Sure)

(Yeah.) Reed rolled his eyes. The monsters were the least of their worries.

Firiko led them to a small hollow in one of the tree trunk intervals, "This hollow should lend us enough shelter" he said although it was obvious that the hollow would hold three, but not if one had wings.

“I don’t mind taking the first watch tonight,” Ren said,shrugging a shoulder.

(Sorry! I thought I had answered but apparently not.)
Reed said, “I can take it too.” He figured he was likely much better suited to staying awake for long periods of time.

"Uhm, it's probably better if it were me…" said Firiko, "This area is infested with Dygehir, at this time of year, And they know me, but not you."

“Hm… that might be a good idea but if you need to rest then wake me up,” Ren said shrugging.

“Whatever.” Reed said.

"Sound-" Firiko was about to answer when he froze, Summoning a ball of silver flame he quickly formed a ring of silver flames around them, "Don't leave the ring!" He growled to the others his wings tense and his eyes scanning the foilage around them.
