Firiko glanced back for a moment when he saw Reed turn invisible.. Before turning back to the warrior.
"So you are freind to the coven?" asked the warrior, relaxing a little but still wary. Firiko put out his flame and showed the warrior his left palm, which was marked with a silvery tattoo, "As you can see, yes, I am." he said calmly.
The warrior blanched when he saw the mark and quickly stepped out of the way. "I hope you can forgive me for accosting you!" he said quickly.
"Forget it, I'm not around enough for all of you lot to recognize me the first time you see me" said Firiko with a shrug. "Come on you 2 i wanna show you a few things about this jungle." he said looking back at Ren and where reed was supposed to be. "And you don't have to hide Reed…." he said.
Reed appeared cautiously, following Firiko.
“Dude, seriously. Stop showing off, you’re making me look bad for being boring.” Ren said towards Reed.
"Yeah and I don't know what you're so worried about either" said Firiko as he led them down into the lower branches where they could see the small village that had been built in the treetops. Firiko slid down a thin branch that hung nearly vertical and was immediately greeted by an older man. "Hey Soro!" said Firiko happily,
Reed nodded in the direction of the new man, wanting to turn invisible.
"Who're your new freinds?" asked Soro, "I hope they aren't more of your crazy relatives"
"No they're not" said Firiko laughing, "This is Ren and Reed," he said pointing at each,
"Pleased to meet you!" said Soro as he moved over to allow them room to slide down.
"Soro, I was wondering if you might be able to help with something," said Firiko hopefully.
"What can I do ya for mate?"
Reed stood awkwardly in the back, trying to avoid letting these people see his face.
"I was wondering if you Would happen to have a decent map of the western side of the Primal.." said Firiko..
"Your in luck mate," said Soro beckoning them to follow. "A rogue came through here recently and dropped one off a few moons ago!"
Reed followed awkwardly, eventually stopping and making himself invisible again. That way he could take as long as he wanted.
Soro led them to a larger building and inside. inside there was a Zen like layout, and several young men and women dueling. Soro waved to one of the over see-ers and led them into a room full of scrolls and books. "Give me two seconds!" said Soro as he ran off into the library. "He'll be back in a few moments" said Firiko with a smile.
“That man is very odd.” Reed said quietly.
"He's an old friend of mine" said Firiko as the guy dropped down onto a table just a few feet away from Ren, "I found it!" he said unrolling a large scroll like the one Firiko had before. "Can you show us a safe path?" asked Firiko studying it carefully.
Reed watched warily, looking around them. He was ready to get them out of a bad situation if needed.
Soro frowned before tracing a line, a silver thread appearing as he did, "This is the path you should probably take," he said, "What path are you taking from here on out?" he asked Firiko.
Firiko pulled out his map, and lined it up with Soro's,
"You got an old map mate," said Soro with a frown.
"I know, but I also know the general changes on it," said Firiko.
Reed suddenly realized that he was unable to hear anything. At all. He said Firiko’s name, but couldn’t hear himself.
Firiko looked over at Reed, "What is it buddy?" he asked, he noticed that Reed looked confused, "You okay?"
Oh god, oh god, oh god…. what was happening? And then he dropped to his knees, his sight gone as well.
"Reed?!" Firiko came over to him, "What's wrong?!"
Soro came over too, but was confused an unable to help.
Images started flashing through Reed’s mind. Someone attacking them. And they were close. And just like that, it was over. Reed sat gasping for a second, trying not to cry.
"Reed?" Firiko looked into his eyes, "What happened?"
“I-v-vision.” Reed stuttered, his voice sounding extremely choked.
"Like the one that brought you to the throne room?"
“Y-Yeah. But-but th-this one is-is now. Something-something’s c-coming.”
"Now?" said Firiko a bit alarmed as he pulled Reed to his feet, "What did you see?"
Reed shook as he spoke, feeling like he had the flu. “Somebody’s coming to-to attack u-us. They’re close. It’s not-not going to end well.”
