Hey, hi yeah it's me again. I know I'm not active that much anymore but bare with me, it's a busy term as I have huge assignments due soon and a job interview and I'm stressed. However, I really want something angsty, and gay (maybe) and something with blood and fighting and I don't even know. So yeah…
Hello! I’m not active very much either, but this sounds interesting! May I join?
Of course :) I’ll be honest I don’t have much of a plot, but we can figure that out together lol
Thanks! :) And alrighty! Me neither lol
Though I was kinda thinking about something with royalty?? What genre were you thinking?
Ooo royalty could be interesting. Fantasy could be genre if we went with that and it’s the genre I usually write in, that or modern.
I’m good with fantasy! I feel like that might have more opportunities for dramatic fighting.
Heck yeah. So general plot. It could be something like… there are two kingdoms at war and somehow the prince of one side ends up teaming up with either A) the prince of the other kingdom B) A random servant from the other team or C) teams up with the prince of the other side to stop the war but thinks the other prince is on his side or something completely different I’m open for ideas
Hmm I really like all three of those…
I think C could be really interesting where the second prince has to keep his identity secret?
Okay then, that sounds like a plan. Are we going to go in blind or templates?
I don’t usually go in blind, but it might make more sense for characterization if we did since they don’t know each other
Okay, then. I can put up a very brief temp if you'd like?
Okie :)

Background:
Sweet! I’ll get my guy up soon
Name: Vincent Rosennedy
Age: 20 (flexible, can change if need be)
Sexuality: probably Bi, no preference yet
Appearance: Standing 6' 3" tall, Vincent is a light skinned man with hazel eyes and fine eyebrows. A particularly notable feature is his faint freckles. He has a round face with a round chin, a bumped nose and thin lips. His hazel eyes are round, and he has fine eyebrows.
He has silky, curly russet hair which reaches just past his shoulders. He’s generally toned from being trained how to fight.
Personality: Typically reserved but secretly wants more friends, socially awkward, he likes to think of himself as logical, he really likes horses (I’ll probably flesh his personality out more as the story continues)
Background: Vincent grew up a prince in his kingdom, a middle child. Too young to be the direct heir, and old enough to be the big brother of his two younger siblings— one an infant girl, and the other a 14 year old boy. Vincent was rather reserved, unable to make close friends outside of the nobles that visited court every once in a while. His closest friend is a dapple gray horse named Frederick.
Aww babyyy, I love him.
Name: Kyan 'Ky' Mirriando
Age: 20
Sexuality: bi-sexual, leans towards men
Appearance: Kyan has a mess of black hair. It's poofy and really soft like all the time. Tends to fall over his face a lot of the time. He's very pale, like… very, freckles all over his face and body. Kyan has bright blue eyes, rimmed with a darker blue. Very soft features, doesn't look like one that would be caught in a fight. Has that innocent look to him. Is around 5'5, maybe a little smaller but even though he hates it it comes with some advantages. Strong, even though he is skinny and doesn't look like he has much muscle to him.
Personality: A pretty kind and caring person, protective and stubbon to a fault. Isn't much of a fighter but he can and will if need be. More of a strategic person then anything. Can be very emotional, though he tries not to be. Doesn't get mad or angry often but when he does he gets mad.
Background: Is the only son and heir to the throne of kingdom of Arela. Grew up there his whole life and is very proud of their kingdom. It strives for equality and fairness and isn't a violent kingdom at all. Though, when the accusations came out that they'd been stealing from other kingdoms they didn't hesitate to fight back.
Thx! I love Kyan too
And yep, I think so!
(Okay, here's the starter then)
The war had been ongoing for months now with no end in sight. Hundreds of people had died, innocent or other. Soldiers had been missing for weeks on both sides, presumed dead or taken captive by the other side. The battle field was a mess of bodies and the wounded clinging onto life and calling out for help.
Kyan had fought since the battle had begun. He'd gotten lucky so far, only sustaining a few injuries and not many serious ones. He'd lost friends, his own mother had been taken from him, people he'd known and helped for so many years and they were all gone and for what? A rumor that his kingdom was stealing from others? It was a crazy notion and one he knew for certain was false.
It was the middle of the night when Kyan crept out of his tent. It had become routine at this point. There was a place not far from the battlefield, a pocket of peace where the prince could just sit and think about everything. From what he knew, no one else had been, mainly because it was so close to enemy lines.
The place was quiet for the most part with the exception of the natural wildlife. Crickets and katydids hummed their melancholy symphony in the darkness, and nocturnal creatures rustled leaves both in the trees and on the ground. However, horse hooves weren’t the most common sound to be heard at such a late time of day. And not only the heavy hoof steps, but also the sound of spurs jangling and shifting fabric. “What a good boy…” A masculine voice cooed softly, presumably to the equestrian owner of the foot steps.
A flash of red flickered through the gaps in between the leaves, while the rest of the sight remained cloaked by plant life. The Vicurian army often had red and folded sleeve cuffs in contrast to their gray uniform. Particularly those of high ranking or royalty.
The Arelaian prince had nothing to identify himself as royalty. A choice he had made specifically. He didn’t want to be seen as more by his fellow soldiers, only an equal. Although, the blue and gold on his collar showed he was of the other side, but a simple, lonely solider of Arela.
He heard the hoof steps before he saw them. Then he saw the red before he saw the rest of the person. Kyan had known it would be a dangerous game coming ever so close to the boarder but at this time at night he hadn’t expected anyone else to be here.
He was sitting at the top of the cliff side, over looking the valley bellow were there was no fighting. He stood quickly, trying to find somewhere to conceal his presence.
Vincent was completely unaware that anyone else might be here. It was dangerous crossing the border, even just the little bit he did. But he doubted any Arelaian solider would dare come this close anyway. He patted his horse’s neck, cooing to him softly as he slid out of the saddle.
A misplaced step back had Kyan breaking a branch with a loud snap. It was enough to let the other know he was there and that was for certain. The only way back to camp was a path blocked by the Vicurian. He silently cursed himself for being so stupid.
Vincent nearly startled out of his skin. He froze in place, and looked wildly around for the source of the sound. His attention finally landed on the branch. “Who’s there?” He demanded, trying his force reman even despite the sudden shock of adrenaline. He pushed through the obstructing branches to get a better look, albeit cautiously.
Kyan swallowed, stepping into view and raising his hands in a surrender. If he was killed right now well, that wouldn't be good for anyone. He craned his neck up at the man on the horse, wishing he was at least a few feet taller then he actually was, "If you're gonna kill me, do it quick, please."
