She sat there thinking for a few minutes after he fell asleep. You're going to leave anyway, why not leave him sooner? She didn't want to be a jerk, but why should she stay? Eventually, after debating in her head, she stood which pushed the chair a little. A small creak was made, but she doubted it would wake him up. So, she continued to the door.

Ash adjusted himself on the bed as the chair moved, frowning slightly in his sleep. He didn't wake, though, just settled down though it wasn't as peaceful as before.

Red froze when she heard the rustle of the hospital sheets, looking behind her to see him only frown a little. He's still asleep. He'll get over it. And so, she left out the door. At this point, it didn't bother her anymore. It wasn't like she was going to see him anytime soon.

(Sounds great! just to fix the gap i keep leaving, I shall start)

Red was bored. Just as she always was. The entire day had been full so far. Most of it was spent outside and away from home. She was still trying to distance herself. At about noon, she had stopped at a local library to update "Nonsense," a journal she kept with her all day everyday. Inside was nonsense. Her scrambled thoughts took the form of ongoing sentences and rough sketches of maps. There, she wrote everything she thought. She wrote about her adventures, her favorite kinds of drives, but most importantly, she wrote her plan. She planned out needed supplies, money, and mapped out where she wanted to go. It was nonsense to most who didn't bother to try to understand, but to her it made perfect sense.
At about six in the evening, Red had decided she'd done enough walking and wanted a little refresher. Down the street was a place called "Skylight" where she went when she needed a small break. Of course, the sun was beginning to set, so she made a mental note not to stay too long. She didn't want to miss the sunset view from her roof.

Ash's mind was a mess of thoughts. Mainly work and jobs he had to complete, on the exercises he needed to remember to complete before bed that night but also on Red. Where she was and how she was were the main things he wanted to know but with no way to contact her, he was left with unanswered questions. He knew he should just drop it but for some reason he couldn't.
Currently, he was heading towards Skylight, needing to grab a drink for himself and one for Jack before he headed home for the evening. Sighing, he tried to clear his head just a little, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he walked. He hummed softly to himself for a while before it stopped and he entered Skylight.

Red was looking around at the options when she heard the door chime signalling someone had walked in. She didn't bother to check who considering she wasn't the only one who came. Gotta make sure I save up…

@ElderGod-Carrots

Ash wasn’t really paying attention to where he was going and knocked into someone, “Crap I’m sorr-“ He stopped when he realised who exactly he’d knocked into, blinking down at Red.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Red stumbled a little, not realizing who it was at first, but once he said her name it clicked "I, uh. Ash. Hi." She cleared her throat. This is…interesting…

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Red bit the inside of her cheek, a bad habit she picked up a while back. "I, uh. I've been just- just at home and around town really. And I'm okay, thanks." She cleared her throat. "And you?" He was the one who was in the hospital for a little. She wasn't going to bring it up seeing as how she totally just ditched him.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Oh yeah you know, fine for someone who’s still healing from being in hospital,” Ash replied with a shrug, “The usual.” He narrowed his eyes ever so slightly at her.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

The glare was like needles being stabbed into her all over her heart. Guilt. "Right, uh, yeah…" She cleared her throat. She wanted to apologise, but held back. You're leaving again, so why does it matter now? "You, uh, feeling any better?*

@ElderGod-Carrots

Ash shrugged a shoulder, trying to keep a lock on his anger and disappointment, "A lot better. I couldn't work for a little while but I'm back in the shop and no longer in pain."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

She nodded. "Well, glad to hear you're back to doing what you love." She crossed her arms over her chest and stood a little awkwardly, unsure of what to say.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"So… how what have you been doing lately?" He asked, "Since you disappeared on me, that is." He didn't know why he felt so upset and angry about her leaving, maybe it was because she promised she wouldn't.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Ouch. There it was. "Right, uh yeah See my dad called and said he wanted me home, and umm yeah so I had to leave." She tended to speak with her hands which didn't help her lying case. For some odd reason, she could lie to her family, bit often found trouble lying to others. Need to work on that, she noted as she stumbled over her words. "But I've been okay, thanks."

@ElderGod-Carrots

HIs eyes narrowed even more, clearly unbelieving of her answer but he didn't push or shout or anything, he just nodded a little, "Well, I'm glad you've been okay."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

It was the fact that he didn't say anything that drove her insane. It's like walking the entire day with a rock in your shoe but not having the time to take it out. Oh, and it was sharp on top of that. "Yeah, glad to see you, you're umm doing well too." For someone who looked a bit tougher than most, she was sure stumbling over her words. It was something about the way the guilt hit like daggers throw from his eyes. He'll get over it. I will have to too.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Ash nodded once, slipping his hands into his pockets and rocking on his heels, "So, do you always go back on your promises or was that just a thing you do with people you don't know?" He asked, clearly acting calmer then he was on the inside. He knew there might be a logical reason, and if there was why didn't she say it. So, that meant she flat out lied and he hated people who lied.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

She winced as he spoke and looked to the ground. "I, uh, it's just a thing I do. With everyone. Don't bother feeling special." She regretted adding the last part, but she had already done so much. Might as well just completely cut off from him, right?
