(Well, if you ever need to talk then I'm here! I know what it's like to not have your mental health no taken seriously so I'm here if you need :) )
Ash nodded, "'Course it's okay, I could never say no to free company."

Ash nodded, "'Course it's okay, I could never say no to free company."
(gee thx I really do appreciate it)
A small laugh with a shy smile came, both of them surprising her. "Even a stranger?"
“Even a stranger. Well, your less of a stranger now, I’ve met you twice.” Ash grinned.
What are you doing there, Red? She forced her smile to simmer down a little. She was showing too much. Being too nice. What happened to the wall she had been working so hard on? Somehow, with each smile he seemed to take it down. It felt weird. She refused to see it as refreshing though. "Only twice. For all you know, I could be an axe murderer." She was not such a thing, however, she was a girl with a record of hurting people close to her.
"You're a very nice axe murderer if you are," He replied, shrugging a shoulder, slowly, "I doubt an actual axe murderer would have hung around at a hospital for someone they barely know."
(sorry)
She laughed a little. "I mean, you're not wrong. Guess it's my time to leave then," joking a little. Something was different about this dude. She'd already thought it a million times. It might be the fact that he jokes around a bit after being beat up or that he wasn't intimidated by her that struck her as odd. Either way, it was the first time someone outside of her family was willing to look her in the eye since she pushed everyone away. It's for their own good. Protection.
(What for?)
"Nooo, please don't go," Ash pouted a little, "I like your company." And he truly did. There were a few people who could actually talk to him without pissing him off to the point of him punching them and she seemed to be one of them.
(I was kinda missing for a few days)
She leaned back in her seat and relaxed showing she wasn't going to leave. "Fiiiiinnne. Since you begged." She chuckled a little. She'd seemed to forgotten what a generally unhappy person she was when sitting in a colorless room with only the smell of disinfects. His smile is a little contagious. She unintentionally laughed at her own joke she had made in her head. Really? Jokes? Odd.
(It's fine, it happens)
Ash grinned at her, "Thank-youu. You should laugh more, I like it when you do." He sent her wink before adjusting himself on the bed into a more comfortable position.
(oof and again, I'm sorry)
Red froze before briefly looking to the floor Even though she never seemed to blush with red blossom cheeks, she never failed to feel the year rise to her face. For once, she was thankful. Red, you look tough, so you gotta act tough. What about those walls? She cleared her throat before looking back at him. "Well, you might have to get used to not hearing it seeing as how it's a rare occurrence." And yet you, sir, have managed to make me laugh in a hospital after you almost bled to death.
"Aww come on," Ash whined, "I was just attacked by a bunch of rebel emos who think they're so cool because they listen to My Chemical romance and have died hair, nearly bed to death in a side street and my guardian angel can't even laugh just one more time for me?"
"Hey!" She sat up. "What's so wrong with a rebel emo? And listening to My Chemical Romance?" She was partially joking, of course. She paused before looking back to him. "Your guardian angel?"
Aha just shrugged in response to the first part and with the scone oart he smiled a little, “You saved me from dying, didn’t you? That makes you my guardian angel.”
Red thought for a moment, spinning the ring on her thumb a little. "I wouldn't say angel as much as just a good citizen. Anyone would do the same."
"Mhm, sure they would. I've met loads of people who wouldn't," He sighed softly, closing his eyes for a moment.
"I-" She paused, not really expecting that answer. "Well, then you've just been meeting the wrong people, I guess."
Ash hummed his agreement, sighing through his nose, "Yeah… I'm contemplating moving to the Himalayan's and becoming a hermit…"
"You do you, bud," she scoffed. It's not like she could tell him there were people who wouldn't just leave him for the world to tear him apart. She was going to do just that. Sometime soon. She pushed away the thought and looked to his beat up self, his eyes seeming to droop. "You should sleep."
"B-But I wanna stay awake with youuuuuu…." He mumbled, smiling lazily.
There was a faint smile on her lips. "I don't see why. Plus, you need sleep. You just got beat almost to a pulp. Just sleep." She paused before reluctantly adding, "I can stay until you do." She didn't really want to go home anyway, but she didn't add that.
"You're cool to talk to, that's why," He cracked an eye open but it closed quickly, "But I guess I should do as my guardian angel says, shouldn't I?"
Red smiled a little seeing one of his eyes open for a second. "You really should. You've got to be healthy otherwise you'll make my job a lot harder."
Ash hummed his agreement, clearly giving into the need to sleep, "You're gonna be here when I wake… right?"
"Of course." That, she wasn't entirely sure of. A stranger wanting her to stay. To be there. She could stay for now, couldn't she? She was leaving soon, and she didn't feel like going home. At the same time, she felt a pull on her being to just leave before she could be left.
"Good…" Ash mumbled before he finally, let himself sink into unconsciousness, too tired to fight it anymore.
