Whiteout replied, voice wavering. "NO, I mean no. I shouldn't, I don't know where you got that from."

Ateris leans back, letting out a surprised growl. "No. You must take it."

Whiteout shrinks back at the growl. He looks up at the creature much taller than himself, then sits up, slowly. "Fine, I'll..take it." He holds out his hands.
