"I love you too," Mar growled softly into Kace's ear. He kissed behind it, trailing kisses down Kace's jawline. He lightly bit down on Kace's shoulder.

Le grand time skip
Kace woke up a few hours later, rolling over to envelope Mar in a hug. "Hey, hon," he smiled softly, hugging him tightly. Kace gently placed a kiss on his neck, trying to get him to wake up as well.
Mar shifted a bit, arms going around Kace. His eyes fluttered open, and he smiled softly.
"Hey, sweetie," he said quietly, nuzzling Kace's neck in turn before kissing him lightly.
Kace smiled in the dark, gently kissing him back. "I love you," he smiled again, cuddling into his side. "Do you know what time it is? I'm kinda hungry now."
"I love you too," Mar hummed softly. He looked around, spotting the clock.
"It's seven now," he said calmly.
“That’s a good time for dinner,” Kace nodded, getting up. He threw on some clothes, all of them Mar’s and not his own. “Maybe we could order some fancy takeout like steaks, and have a stay in date? And then you’ll be in werewolf form, if we’re lucky. You’re extra cute when you turn,” Kace teased.
Mar grinned.
"Steak!" They acclaimed. "Yes, that sounds perfect!" Mar grinned. "I'd love to have a date with you. And I'm cute all the time."
Kace laughed. "Okay, sounds good. We'll order steak from somewhere fancy and have a little date here. And you are cute all the time," Kace grinned, then picked up his phone to find a restaurant.
Mar got up, putting some clothes on before going up behind Kace, wrapping their arms securely around Kace's waist. Mar rested their head on Kace's shoulder, smiling.
"When's sunset?" They asked.
"I think it's eight thirty tonight," Kace replied, wrapping his arms around Mar. He squeezed their body gently, then pulled back and called a restaurant. Kace ended up ordering three steaks, two baked potatoes, and a half a dozen rolls, paying for them with his card. "Okay! Dinner should be here soon."
Mar drooled a bit as they heard wheat was being ordered, grinning happily.
"It sounds delish!" Mar hugged Kace again, kissing their lover's cheek.

"Good," Kace smiled, hugging them tightly. Soon enough, there was a knock at the door as the food arrived. Kace jumped up and grabbed the food, thanking the worker and then shutting the door. "It's here!" he announced proudly, setting it on the table.

Mar hurried to the table, nearly tripping over their own feet as they tumbled into their chair.
"This looks amazing!!" They were getting widely.
Kace laughed and grabbed some plates, setting the food out. He grabbed some silverware as well, setting them out. He dimmed the lights and set up a few candles, to set the mood. "Ta-da!" he smiled, sitting down. "Do you like it, Mar?"
Mar nodded quickly.
"It looks amazing!" They said. The light from the candles flickered in their eyes and across their face, a sweet picture of joy.
"Thank you," Kace smiled, picking up his silverware. "Well, dig in!" he laughed, digging into his own food. He started on his own steak, cutting it up first then taking small bites and chewing. He smiled at Mar.
Mar grinned. They picked up their own silverware, cutting out a piece of the meat and putting it in their mouth. They practically melted, eyes closed on bliss. The seasoning was spot on, the meat nice and tender as it's juices filled their mouth. There was just the right amount of day on it to give that extra but of flavor without being too overwhelming. All in all, this was absolutely perfect.

Kace smiled, looking at Mar's expression. "You like it," he grinned, more of a statement than a question. He tore through his own food, not really one to stop and enjoy it, then sat back and watched Mar with a smirk on his mouth.

Mar nodded eagerly. They continued to saver Their food, but theycouldn't hold back for long- they tore into it, their face lit up the entire time.
"It's amazing~!" Mar said with a grin and mouth full of steak.
Kace smirked a bit more. "Oh, really?" he asked, laughing a little. "Well then, I have to try yours. Since yours might taste different than mine," he pointed out. Kace leaned over right after Mar had taken a bite and kissed him, stealing a bit of the food from their mouth. Kace pulled back and chewed thoughtfully, then swallowed. "It does taste a bit different," he mulled, trying not to laugh at Mar's expression. "But then again, it was just in your mouth."
Mar let out a squeak, covering their face as it turned bright red. They swallowed, lightly hitting Kace's shoulder.
"Ass!" They said, still bright red. They hid their face in Kace's chest now, letting out a small whine.
"I swear to god I'll pee on your pillow when I shift for the night," he mumbled.
Kace laughed loudly, holding Mar close. "Oh, be quiet. I'm sure you liked it," he grinned down at them. "And you better not. I use you as a pillow more than I use my actual pillow," he whispered, gently kissing their forehead. "You're too cute."
Mar blushed more. They wrapped their arms around Kace, mumbling something under their breath. They tilted their head up, quickly kissing Kace in turn before hiding their face again.
Kace giggled softly, holding Mar close. "I love you," he grinned down at them. "Do you want to finish your food now, or did I ruin that for you?" Kace teased.
"Mm, I love you too." Mar turned their head up to kiss Kace lightly. "And I'm gonna keep eating, but you have to promise you won't do that again!" It's not that he didn't like it- he just wanted to eat first before they kissed.
