"Sorry. I'm just…overwhelmed."

"I understand. But…we need to figure out something, the longer we wait, the worse it could get…the situation"

"Yeah. I know." they ran their hands through their hair, closing their eyes.

"I get that this is probably scary and uh hard, but that is what I am here for" He smiled softly at them.

They nodded faintly, still trying to process everything that had happened.

Alex took his glasses off and cleaned them before putting them back on, "well, whenever you are ready to deal with this, I am here"

"Yeah. Thanks."

He nodded, "its what i am here for."

They nodded faintly.

"I have some questions though. One, how long has your family been here? Two, why did they come here?" He said, looking at them curiously.

"We…I…we've lived here since I was…really young." they said slowly.

"so you weren't born here?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.

"No." they replied.

"huh, well do you know why your family came here?"

They shrugged, thinking.

"hm, well I still need to figure out where they took them.."

"We do."

"how?"

"I don't, know."

"…well…I don't either"

"Yeah. Sorry."

"we will figure it out" He smiled softly.

They shrugged. "Maybe."
