@gracehustle

Her dark green eyes narrowed and she got back to work, his red hair catching her attention as she attacked and killed. She was fully aware of how few of her crew mates were left on this ship with her and she knew their ship's hope was dwindling, the yelling from the other ship was quite clear.

There were about 10 opposing crew members left on their ship, the numbers on the opposing ship were dropping as well. Miguel stabbed at a couple more of the enemies before coming face to face with the girl.

@gracehustle

She fought almost like an expert, ending a few more lived before she came face to face with the red haired boy again. Her eyes narrowed again and she got ready to fight, hoping their ship would survive. She refused to let it sink without trying to save it.

Miguel stared at the girl a moment longer, staying silent and poised to attack before lunging to stab at her stomach. A cannon boomed across the water and the opposing ship rocked, its downfall seemed to be near.

@gracehustle

Arlie jumped out of the way barely, stumbling when the cannon went off before quickly recovering. Her eyes narrowed even more and she lunged towards him, swiping and trying to hit his chest.

Miguel jumped back but was still nicked in the chest, the blade had cut through his shirt and grazed his skin. Miguel frowned and grabbed her arms, as an attempt to hold her still, The captain would like her as a prisoner. he thought. “Your ship over is going to sink, I’m afraid.” He said.

@gracehustle

She glared at him, "Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop fighting," She growled, her eyes showing her sadness for the sinking ship for a moment before she tried to yank her arms free.

Miguel noticed the look of sadness and gave a quick sigh of pity before tightening his grip on her arms and putting them behind her back, yanking the sword fr her grasp, “Well there’s nothing you can do to stop it from doing so. You’re a prisoner now, say goodbye to your ship.” As Miguel said this another cannon fired at the ship and barely any people remained on the opposing boat.

@gracehustle

She winced visibly when she heard the shot but quickly hid the reaction, silently saying goodbye to the ship before glaring over her shoulder at him. Arlie almost felt sorry for him as she kicked her leg backwards towards his stomach and groin, refusing to give up even if the ship was gone for.

Miguel yelped in pain but kept his grip on her, fumbling with his dagger, managing to hold it at her side, "One more protest from you and you'll sink like your ship." Another cannon boomed, the other ship was barely holding on. The captain made his way back and looked at the girl, "A prisoner, good work cabin boy." Miguel rolled his eyes, he hated being called by his work name.

@gracehustle

"Cabin boy?" She snorted, doing her best to not focus on the sinking ship, "I'm not going to forget that one." Even with the dagger at her side, she tried again to escape from his grip, this time hooking her foot around the back of his knee and pulling forward, hoping he would stumble.

Miguel blushed slightly, "Shut up." He was surprised when she tried to escape again, he stumbled a bit but kept holding on, digging the dagger about an inch into her. The captain shook his head and grabbed the girls wrist, "Get some rope so we can this one up."

@gracehustle

Arlie bit her tongue to keep herself from yelping when the dagger cut into her and she knew the cut would probably already be bleeding. She fought the captain's grip even more, trying the same tactics again on him to see if she could get away.

The captain frowned at her attempts while Miguel was getting rope, "Look St your boat and sat goodbye, girl.". Miguel came back with some rope and though they struggled because she fought with them, Migu and the captain managed to bound her wrists together, now it was time for the ankles. Miguel crouched to do so.

@gracehustle

"I'll warn you now, don't do that cabin boy," She growled, poisoning her leg to kick towards him. she silently did as the captain said, saying one last goodbye to the ship before focusing on not getting her legs tied.

Deleted user

Miguel flinched slightly, it was barely noticeable. He grabbed her legs and attempted to hold them still while he start to bound them together.

@gracehustle

When he grabbed her legs she aimed a kick towards his chest,making sure it was only strong enough to push him backwards and get the rope loose from her legs.

Deleted user

Miguel was kicked backwards and dropped the rope. He looked annoyed now and grabbed his dagger flipping it so the hilt was aimed at her head so he could knock her out, Miguel thrust it at her.

@gracehustle

She ducked her head and grit her teeth, feeling the back on the dagger smack into the back of her head anyway, "Don't tie my legs and I'll stop," She growled.

Miguel frowned but dropped the rope and grabbed the rope attached to the girls wrists and began to lead her to the cell.

@gracehustle

As much as she hated it, she kept to her word and behaved well while he led her to the cell, the back of her head throbbing from where the hilt of the dagger smacked into her.

Miguel lightly pushed the girl into her cell and shut it, giving a once over before turning to leave, "I'll be back with bandages for your wound." He said.

@gracehustle

She huffed in response, already trying to untie her hands as she slid to the floor and sat down. Her mind was racing from what he just happened, the ship was gone, and she was locked in a cell with no clue what was going to happen to her.

Deleted user

Miguel came back half an hour later with medical supplies. He opened the cell door and closed it behind him, “I’m going to need you to come here and pull up your shirt enough so I can see the wound.”

@gracehustle

Arlie scowled at him in response, her hands untied. She didn’t mention she was free though, wanting to have an advantage if she wanted to try to escape.
