Arvil smiled back.

"Perfect," he nodded. "Which target do you want to use?"

"All right, then get ready to shoot," he walked over to her after he plucked a few arrows. "Your stance was good, so all you need to do is fire the arrow."

"It's a bit weird now," Arvil furrowed his eyebrows, resting his hand on her back, pressing it a little. "Straighten your back and spread your feet a little more. Are you right eye dominant?"

Daisy straightened her back, that hand pressed against her warm even through her clothes. She fought off the blush blooming in her cheeks and instead nodded. “Yeah… Wait, no. Left eye, right hand,” she corrected herself.

"All right, then, hold the bow with your right hand," he instructed, his hand still on her back. "And point your right shoulder to the target. Handle the string and the bow with your left hand."

Deleted user

“Yeah,” Arvil nodded. “Do you know how to set up the arrow?”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

“You just kind of set it there, right?” Daisy asked, glancing back at him. That wasn’t exactly the best idea, though, because it placed their faces very close together. She just blinked in response to it, managing to somehow control the blush threatening to appear on her cheeks.

Arvil’s eyes flickered to her mouth the second she twisted her head back, their faces incredibly close. He removed his gaze from her far-too-inviting mouth and instead handed her an arrow.

“You need to place the back of the arrow on the string first,” he instructed, keeping the waver out of his voice. He pressed her hand down to lower the bow so it pointed to the ground. “Always remember to lower the bow when you do so. Use three of your fingers to lightly hold the string. When the arrow is properly in place, draw the string back as much as possible. Also, when you do that, lift your elbow up. That makes your shoulder muscles work rather than your arm muscles.”

Daisy tore her gaze away from him and once again faced forward when he placed the arrow in her hand. She nodded at his instructions and followed them closely, not wanting to mess anything up. When the arrow was nocked, she pointed it at the target. “Is this good?”

Arvil lifted her elbow a little higher, his breath fanning her neck. When her stance was nearly perfect, he nodded and stepped back.

“Perfect,” he said. “Now find a good aim and shoot.”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Daisy nodded weakly at his words. It was a good thing he had stepped back because she didn’t think she would have been able to do it if he’d been that close. When his breath had fanned her neck, she had barely been able to suppress the shudder that threatened to travel down her spine.

“Well, duh,” she muttered to hide how flustered she was. Rather than speaking further, she aims and pulls back on the string. When she released, the arrow didn’t even hit the target but went flying over it.

Arvil patted her on the head when she missed. “Well, that was your first try, so that’s okay,” he murmured. “You’ll get a hang of it.”

Arvil was itching to help her nock the arrow, aim and shoot, but he tried to hold himself back. Really, it was just so he could feel her pressed up against him. Before he could say anything else, an employee spoke up.

““Okay, no offense, sir, but can you feel the sexual tension in here?” Arvil turned to look at the man with a raised eyebrow. “Just kiss her already! We’ll pretend we don’t see anything.”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Daisy gasped and turned to stare at the man in the doorway. She pursed her lips at him, pulling an arrow from Arvil and pointing it at the employee.

“Didn’t you know it’s not smart to tease your boss and his future wife? Those are two of the most powerful people you’ll encounter, you know. Especially in a big business like this. Women have a lot of sway over a man.”

Arvil let out a laugh, throwing his head back before he managed to keep a control on himself. His fake fiancée had such sass, didn’t she? He liked it. He liked it a lot. He turned his attention towards her and winked teasingly.

“Well, love, what do you say?” He purred. “Or do you prefer an empty room with no audiences?”

Deleted user

“Which makes you look incredibly hot,” Arvil said with the same smirk, but it widened when he noticed her red cheeks. “But do go on. Scold my employee. Look hotter.”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Daisy huffed and rolled her eyes. She turned her attention to the man at the door. “If you want a show, you’ll have to find one elsewhere. Arvil and I do not kiss for show.”

(Arvil* xD)

The employee merely stared at them before he shook his head and walked out. The second he did, Arvil began to chuckle before he started laughing.

“So, love,” he started once he calmed down enough. “Should we end the ‘sexual tension?’”

Arvil winked at her. “You bet I would,” he purred. “Wouldn’t you?”
