"I mean, food is good…" She said, shrugging as she started doodling again.
"I mean, food is good…" She said, shrugging as she started doodling again.
She nodded. “Yeah I guess that would work. What bands do you like?” She asked.
"Ramones, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys…" She started rambling.
Melissa nodded even though she didn’t recognize any of the names. “that sounds cool we should print in the printed pictures tomorrow and maybe think of what we want to make with them.”
"Sure." Annie said, shrugging again.
"Do you have a printer? Because I think the school's printers only black and white," She says writing something down in her notebook.
"No, but I can just color them in with some markers." She said, nodding to herself.
"Ok I think the teacher has magazines that we can cut things out of too," she said writing that down.
"Great!" She smiled, half hiding it behind her hand.
Melissa checked and saw that they still have a while so she got up and got some magazines. one was about food while the other looked like it was a music magazine. She also got a fashion and one that had a bunch of celebrities.
Annie looked up. "Anything good?"
She shrugged. "I think I can work with them. Not sure if the bands you like will be in here but they have instruments and other bands," She said sitting back down.
"Thanks." She said, smiling softly again.
"no problem," she said placing the magazines between them. she had also grabbed two pairs of scissors. she flipped through the food magazine.
Annie picked up the music magazine, flipping through, occasionally stooping for an article.
(Oh shoot sorry I thought I responded to this!)
Melissa cut out some dishes. Mainly cakes and different pastries.
Annie cut out a few logos, humming to herself again
"So other than bands what else do you think you'll do?" Melissa asked moving on to the fashion magazine.
"Dunno yet." She said absently.
"Hmm well we should try to think of what we want to make," She said still flipping through the magazine.
"Yeah, probably." Annie said, glancing up.
Melissa nodded and grabbed a blank piece of paper. "We can sketch it first since it would be easier to just fill in with pictures," She explained.
