(Yeah that’s fine!)

Faye walked through the hotel doors with her bags piled around her shoulders and both elbows, along with dragging a suitcase behind her. She smiled at the scenery, taking a look around at where she would be staying for the next month. If she stayed much longer she would plan on getting an apartment, but for now, this was amazing, she decided. She walked up to the counter to pick up the key for the room she’d reserved.

Felix walked through the hotel doors and disliked it immediatly. It was so… cozy. Nice. He didn't want 'nice'. 'Nice' reminded him of home. Tomorrow he would try to find another hotel. Maybe one outside of Paris, with less people. He walked up to the counter, looking down at his feet as he waited in the line.

The young woman in front of him had five bags and suitcases hanging off of her as she talked to the French-accented man behind the counter, “I made a reservation two months ago sir…I promise I have the receipt, I’ll show you!” She dropped a few bags to dig through her purse while she cursed nervously under her breath, “Room 236, the website told me. One of the fancy apartment rooms.”

Felix listened to their conversation. 236? "Hey," he interfered. "I have booked room 236." He turned to the man behind the counter. "There should be a reservation for it in my name, Felix Titling."

Oh, great. Another social interaction.

@Purple_Sunglow

The man looked back at his computer, “Yes, I do see a scheduling for Felix Titling.”

Faye’s expression dropped until she found the printed receipt and place it on the table, “See? I have it right here!”

“Oh..” he looked down at the receipt, then to Felix, then back to the computer, “I’m new and inexperienced, but I do see an opening for the room next door. Would either of you be willing to give up the suite and take the regular room next to it?”

Faye pursed her lips, she really didn’t want to give up the room, but it seemed she might have to, “Okay, that’s fine..” she sighed.

Felix smiled for himself. Another victory. Not that he had done anything himself to win it, but still. It was nice having something turning out as he wanted for once. He grabbed his keys, mumbling a quick "Sorry" to the girl before heading towards the elevator.

@Purple_Sunglow

The girl shot him a quick glare when she thought she was out of his sight, then turned to get the key 237, “Thank you, sir..” she sighed, leaning down to pick up her things and walk to the elevator. He could have at least offered to take the smaller room, she pouted.

As Felix got into the elevator, he felt kind of mean. It was just… he really wanted that room. As the doors started closing, he saw the girl whos room he had stolen. She carried a lot of bags, and he hesitated for a second before holding the doors to the elevator for her. He hated those awkward elevator rides with strangers, but… it was the least he could do.

@Purple_Sunglow

Faye blinked and stepped inside, “Oh, thank you.” When she got settled enough she spoke, “It’s Felix, right?” Maybe he wasn’t as rude as she thought him just a few seconds before.

"Yeah." Felix wasn't in the mood to talk right now, but he had to at least try to be nice. "Sorry I stole your room. What's your name?"

@Purple_Sunglow

“It’s fine..” she dismissed, “And I’m Faye.” She lifted a hand to scratch the nape of her neck, “It’s just been a long day.”

"Can't argue with that," Felix mumbled. He looked over at the girl. She was… somewhat attractive. "What brings you to Paris?"

@Purple_Sunglow

Faye glanced back, “I just wanted out of my hometown. Everything just seemed so…familiar. I needed something new for a while.” She pushed a bag farther up her shoulder, “You?”

Deleted user

"I'd rather not tell. Let's just say… my family are not very nice people." Felix made a grimace. "And I have always wanted to come here, anyways. Paris has always seemed so… free, if you get what I mean. It feels like freedom."

@Purple_Sunglow

She nodded, “Yeah, that makes sense. Paris has interested me too, I studied French in high school and my class took a trip here my senior year.” She half smiled and looked down, “I wanted to go, but that didn’t work out.”

Deleted user

"I don't speak a single word french." Felix smirked at her. "Oh, wait. That's actually not true, I know one word. Baguette." A crooked smile.

@Purple_Sunglow

“Oh?” She raised an eyebrow and laughed, “Oui, oui, mon petite baguette!” She turned her head back to the doors when the elevator ding-ed their arrival to the second floor.

Felix smiled a bit behind her back. "I can carry a bag for you if you want. I mean, right now we are neighbours anyways." He blushed a tiny bit.

@Purple_Sunglow

She stepped to the side beside the elevator to let him out, “If you would that would be wonderful, thank you.” She handed him a couple of her smaller bags.

Felix took them. "Wow. These are heavy. What do you have in there, bricks?"

@Purple_Sunglow

“Hah, it’s just a bunch of medicine and…beauty things.” Faye answered, “Sorry I gave you the heavy ones but those were the ones hurting my arms.” She chuckled.

"It's okay." Felix smiled. "As you can see, I am one muscular guy," he joked. He was getting in a better mood now.

Deleted user

"Mhm. Totally," Felix smirked, happy with that he made her laugh. He sheepishly walked behind her with the bags.

Faye set down the suit case in front of 237 while she used the key to unlock the door. She opened it, revealing a pretty standard one bed apartment bedroom with a fridge, stove top, television and small table all in one room. The bathroom sat right behind the front door.
“Well, this looks cozy,” Faye stepped inside, placing her suitcase beside the bed.
