He folded in his wings, then held his head high. "No. Why should I?"
No way he was going in first, even if he could teleport if he was trapped.
(we gonna introduce the twins soon?)

(what if like we have Aragon go in first, and then when kaylum goes to enter the twins just show up behind him)
(oo i like that)
(lol okay)
"You know what? I'll go in first, but i warned you," he spoke casting a glance behind him before heading into the den.
Kaylum watched him go inside, confused now. It seemes to him that Aragon relented too quickly for it to be without something behind it. Kay could take this opportunity to escape, but the palace may be out of his teleportation range, and if he flew, the hybrid would eventually catch up. Besides, he wanted to figure this out, understand what the heck this hybrid had been blabbering about.
He took a moment to shake his body as way to prepare himself, before cautiously stalking towards the den.
Two figures appeared in the distance flying for kaylums hear, they were smaller then Aragon. One of the dragons zoomed closer and tackled Kaylum from behind pressing a claw to kaylums throat, electric charge getting ready to shock.
And there it is. Kaylum felt himself being pushed to the ground and let out a strangled grunt. There was a stinging scent in the air, like acrid smoke, and the claw wrapped around his throat was hot to the touch. He quickly teleported above the ground to get a good look at his attackers. They were small, but quick and nimble, Kaylum could tell. He had not even heard them coming. Their scales glinted gold, and they’re eyes seemed to glow a neon blue. Small, quick, and gold, like lightning…
Lightning dragons? Here? Kay didn’t have time to think about it. It was almost like they teleported too, but no. They were just that quick. He tried to move away, but it was futile. A claw scraped his wing, sending arcs of electricity through him. It seemed to fry his blood, and there was spasm of pain in is head. He fell hard onto the snowy ground, still conscious but unable to move.
"And now, he can't move. Gosh, it's about time he finally got him here, been waiting to do that for a while now."
One of the electric dragons transformed into a human, a female with long bleach blonde hair and piercing electric eyes. She stared down kaylum and stretched out her arms, before going and knocking on a part of the den entrance.
"oi! We did the thing!" She hollered into the den, only to have Aragon walk out in human form as well, still massively taller then the female.
"I told you i warned you." He spoke staring at Kaylum. "Not a bad job, for a couple of electric dragons." He spoke, the twins knew he was joking but Kaylum probably didn't.
The female’s twin also decided to transform, a male who looked quite similar to his sister. Bluish freckles spangled his cheeks, and they splattered over his hand as he reached out to inspect Kaylum, who was stuck in dragon form.
The electric boy whistled. “Wow. You ever seen a psychic dragon before, Lulu? I thought it would be more difficult to take him down.”
Kaylum could somewhat see the hybrid from this angle. It was all he could do at the moment, so he inspected his human form. Tall, muscular, less spiky though. More angular, at the very least. Kay could appreciate a pretty man, even if he was his kidnapper. But then Aragon decided to open his mouth, and Kay decided to astral project.
He closed his eyes and his body went limp. Invisible to the others, his soul rose out of his body, still taking a dragon-like shape. At least this way he was more numb to the pain and Aragon’s words. He just hoped they wouldn’t continue to harm his body.
“Uhh hey,” the boy called. “It looks like he just died.”
The femalw went over to where her twin was observing the dragon, Kaylum. "I really thought they would have been, though he is just a prince, he probably just gets pampered and has so many guards he doesn't have need for self defense of any kind, though that seems kinda stupid."
Aragon watched and listened as they talked and looked down at Kaylum, before hearing Luciens comment.
"well then it did us the favor of having to deal him in, bring him inside just in case, i have a feeling he may just have passed out."
The female grumbles mocking Aragon "bring him inside take out the psychic prince for me meh meh meh meh" she moved to lift Kaylu
The male, Lucian, chuckled. "Yeah. Spoiled brat. Since he's a prince, it's no wonder."
He shifted into dragon form again and lifted one end of Kaylum's body onto his back. He motioned for his sister to do the same before moving Kay inside the cave.
Meanwhile, Kay's soul floated about, pondering over their words. "Deal him in," Aragon had said. Did they plan to kill him eventually? He wouldn't be surprised. And considering the state he was in now, it would be wise to not underestimate a hybrid and two electric dragons. Perhaps he could wait till he had recovered from the electric shock, find out why Aragon wanted to kill him so bad, then get out of there and use that information accordingly. Yes, that could work, and the plan had room for tweaking. For now, he just had to wait.
Kay drifted into the cave, hovering over his body.

Luca moved to transform into her dragon form and drag the princes dead weight body inside, once sucsessfully inside she dropped him hard, moving immediately to roll out her arms and shoulder blade, moving to head for a more comfortable area to stay in, after grabbing some food.
"There he is, I hope you enjoy your little date with his majesty."
She spoke taking a bite of the food she had grabbed.
He glared at her, "it's not a date, Luca, I'm going to kill the prince. Why would I date someone I want to kill? Now shoo. I don't want you hear when I do it." He grumbled, she huffed and got up moving to a different part with her food.
Once they brought the prince inside and set him down, Lucian also shifted to human form and grabbed some of the goat meat from yesterday's hunt. He let out a laugh at his sister's words.
"Ah yes, give him the kiss of death for us, will you?" he smirked. He followed Luca to the other room, saying, "Wow Lucy, I didn't know you could tell a joke."
Meanwhile, Kaylum hovered over his body, unsure whether he should go back in yet. He couldn't astral project for too long, otherwise he could become separated from his body forever, essentially dying. But going back in his body meant dealing with the full force of the physical pain. So, he stayed hovering over his body for a little longer. If Aragon drew a knife or something, Kay could give him a little surprise. He chuckled at the thought.
From this perspective, he could see Aragon's soul glimmering within him. It was very dim, but shone bloody crimson. It suited him, but then again, the soul always suited the body. What made it so dim, though? Looking down, Kay saw his own soul shining, dimmer than what is healthy, but at least brighter than the hybrid's. Of course, all that anger and need for revenge could not be a sign of a healthy soul, but where did it come from? Kay was suddenly curious.

He did indeed pull out a knife, it was a curved blade attached to a guilded hilt, he spun it in his hands before moving towards Kay's throat, and placing it underneath it. He leaned down to whisper,
"I know your not dead, you best come out and show yourself."
Luca rolled his eyes at Lucians comment, "Yes I am capable of making jokes, big surprise." She moved to continue to eat her food as she watched her twin brother come and sit down next to her.
Man, this hybrid just seemed so intent on sucking the fun out of everything. Kaylum returned to his body and opened his eyes. He first used telekinesis to move the knife away from his throat, then shifted to human form. An aching pain hit him, and he groaned. “Hold on, hold on, give me a second.”
He took deep rhythmic breaths, and soon the worst of the pain had passed, though it seemed all of his muscles had given up on him. He relaxed, though not completely, as he kept an eye on the knife. “So, you’re gonna kill me, right? Well, if I’m going to die, I would like to know why first.”
"I knew it." He muttered underneath his breath, he felt the knife being pushed away and then saw as kaylum transformed into his human form and his gaze seemed to harden even more as he stared at him. He moved the knife away as he stared down the prince,
"Why should I give you that knowledge? You won't be alive to do anything with it."
He spoked, staring him down. *he's stalling.."
Kaylum tilted his head. "Hybrid, you tricked me and my friend into believing you were injured, you held my friend hostage, and used that to force me into following you here. And I have no idea why. I don't even know who you are. All you've said so far was yapper on and on about my uncle and some mistress of his. What do his actions have to do with this hatred of me? What have I done? I refuse to die until I understand what the heck is going on."
"You want to know so badly?" He glares him down, "I'm making your dad feel the same pain that I felt when I had to watch my mother die Infront of me as a child." He growled at him, moving towards him and backing him against the wall.
"that mistress of your uncle's was my mother's, and she was executed for having a cross breed dragon child. She had an affair with another man that wasn't your uncle and I was born."
He spit his words with venom, "That good enough for you?"
He let out a small gasp as he was backed against the wall, but he wasn’t afraid. Kaylum furrowed his brow, processing this information. Was this what the missing part of the record detailed? Did the former King Hansel really die from an illness? Was it possible he was still alive?
“Funny, my dad isn’t here to see me die,” he remarked. “So I’m sure he’s feeling little to no pain right now.”
Then he pursed his lips. “Ehh, I still have questions, but I doubt that you can answer them. Sorry that happened to you, by the way.”
"Oh I wouldn't worry about him feeling no pain, once your nothing but a corpse I'll send you right back to the castle, and then he will gaze upon his son's corpse and let out a pained cry, realizing your gone and never coming back." He moved to press the blade to kaylums throat getting closer as he spoke to him, venom always present, always dripping at the edges of his voice.
He glared kaylum down, he was hurt and he was angry, he wanted revenge but deep somewhere in him was a great amount of sadness, grief and loss.
"you know what? Fine, I'll grant you two questions before you die. Think of it as a parting gift." He moved back from where kaylum was, holding the knife.
"Do you always have to be this dramatic?" Kay once again used telekinesis to keep the blade a good distance away from his throat. "Ah dragon's tooth, that was a question. Well, hey, I got one left." He smirked. "Do you know what happened to my uncle after his little affair was discovered?"
"After I learned what had happened to my mother, I trained for months learning the best ways to kill a man, I figured out where he had gone after his exile and killed him. Then realizing he wasn't the one that did it, I prepared for years for kidnapping and killing you, so I could get back your dad." He gritted his teeth.
