"Oh, I know you're not. You don't have to worry about that with me." She hopped off her stool. "Thank you so much, Kara, the donuts were amazing!"
"Oh, I know you're not. You don't have to worry about that with me." She hopped off her stool. "Thank you so much, Kara, the donuts were amazing!"
"You're welcome!" Kara chimed.
"Yeah, thanks Aunt Kara!" Jason agreed. "Anyway, we should go. It's late."
"Okay." She took his hand. "Is this okay?"
He kissed her on the forehead. "Of course it's OK. It's always OK."
She smiled up at him. “Thank you.”
As they walked out, all of the paparazzi turned on them. Jason, used to this, kept pushing forward.
"Shoot," P.J grumbled, making sure not to lose Jason's hand as he powered through the crowd.
He tightened his grip on P.J.'s hand, making sure that she couldn't possibly be lost.
Eventually, they pushed through all the crowds and ended up in a side road where not much was going on. P.J walked closer to Jason. "Thanks over there."
"You kinda get used to it after a few years," He replied sheepishly. "But you're welcome."
She squeezed his hand. “Where to now?”
Jason was about to answer, but at that moment it decided to rain. "Want to just enjoy this moment?" He asked, water starting to drip down his hair."
P.J nodded, grinning up at him. Her short hair fell down her face, wet and dripping, but on a smiling face.
It didn't take long before they were soaked, but neither of them really cared. They were in each other's company, and that was all that mattered.
P.J smiled to herself, then up at him as she jumped to press a light kiss to his cheek.
He picked her up and spun her around, the light of the streetlight casting a brightness on the section of street.
P.J laughed, grabbing onto his shoulders so as not to fall. "It's like a movie set. But better."
"I wouldn't say that," He laughed. "The set for Born Ready and Fire Hall were absolutely stunning."
"Okay, yeah, whatever. I still think this is better than any movie set." She leaned into him a little.
"You definitely haven't gone on set of my newest movie then," He joked.
"Aha! Another clue! At this rate I'll know what it is within days." She laughed.
"I'll give you one good hint. I'm gonna be a superhero," He smiled proudly.
P.J grinned up at him. "You always are. Hm…Shazam 2?" She joked.
"No one can replace Zachary Levi," He replied. "But no. It's a hero that no one else has done yet."
"Ooh. Marvel or DC? Or something else?"
