" rosalind.." he mumbled
" rosalind.." he mumbled
Farah sobbed heavily against him. The taste of bile was still in her mouth, and her legs were trembling so badly she could barely stand.
Saul picked her up, walking till the base of the hill and setting her down
Farah clung to him. "I'm a murderer," she whispered. "I just killed an entire town."
“ all of us did…” he said and pulled her on his chest
"What happened with Andreas?" she whispered.
“ like I said.. I heard the people, started running after it and he stopped me. We fought, hard, and I killed him..”
"Did he hurt you?" Farah whispered. "Are you okay?"
“ my sides cut. Again. But I’ll live..”
"Ben can patch you up when we get back to Alfea," she whispered, needing to talk about something else to distract her from the pain.
Saul chuckled, pulling Farrah close “ I love you. Soo fucking much”
Farah cried softly into his shoulder. "I love you too."
Saul rubbed her back, looking up as Rosalind came down. He drew his sword again and snarled
Rosalind rolled her eyes. "Please, Silva. Put it away."
“ stay.away.from.us.” He growled
Farah looked up at her. "You knew there were still people," she accused.
Rosalind arched her eyebrows, but she didn't deny it.
“ so you did?!” Saul snapped
"We did what had to be done," Rosalind said shortly. "All the known Burned Ones have been eliminated."
"Zealot!" Farah screamed. "You've never cared about anything but those damned Burned Ones."
“ you killed a whole town!” He said
Rosalind shook her head. "It had to be done. The two of you don't understand."
“ no we don’t. We never will.” He growled
"Exactly. You follow my orders, so you don't need to."
Saul growled, shaking from rage
"Farah, calm down your Specialist."
"No," Farah snapped. "I'm just as angry as he is."
Rosalind smirked with amusement. "An angry fairy and her Specialist think they can… what? What are you even going to try and do to me?"
Saul looked to Farrah over power her, there’s runic suppressors in my back pocket..
