Farah exhaled long and slow.

"Farah?" Ben asked, approaching her cautiously. "Are you alright?"

Her fingers trembled slightly, so she clasped them together as she nodded. "Yes. We should be getting back now."

saul ended up falling asleep as his body couldn't handle the sudden change.

Luna smiled and let him be.

Carried by longing, it didn't take Farah too much time to return to Alfea with Ben in tow.

saul seemed just the same as he slept, worried by fear for farrah

Farah made a beeline for Saul's room as she returned to the campus. She opened the door, and Luna stepped out of her way. "He fell asleep as the venom began to retract," she explained.

saul winced as voices filled the room. he was starting to wake

Farah sat beside him and took his hand tightly in between hers. "Saul?"

saul opened his eyes a bit " far?"

She laughed and hugged him tightly. "I promised you I'd be okay," she whispered in his ear.

" thank you.." he said

"I promised," she whispered.

" im alright now…" he said and pulled her closer

"I know," she said softly. She heard the door shut softly as Luna left them alone.

" i love you, so much.."

Instead of responding, Farah began to cry. "Saul, I'm scared," she whimpered.

" why?" he asked softly

"In the forest… killing the Burned One… I was so… so angry. And I felt how much power I had. It was terrifying…"

" but the thing is, you didn't lose control.."

"I could've," she whispered. "Easily, I could've. But it wasn't just that. I've never felt power like that before, Saul. There was so much… and it was mine."

" isnt that a good thing? i wouldnt know, being non fairy and all"

"Well, for fairies like Rosalind, who love power, it's a very good thing. But it terrified me, Saul. I never knew I could feel such power. What if I accidentally lose focus? What if I can't control it?"

" ill be there to put you back in order " he said and kissed her forehead " ill always have your six farah."

Her eyes were shining with held-back tears, but she smiled as he reassured her. "And I'll have yours," she promised. "No Burned Ones will ever hurt you again."

" and no burned ones will ever touch you." he said and kissed her forehead
