Zackary grinned his happy smile, turning to give one back. “Yes, that would be no good. Especially if it’s… ugh.” He shivered at the thought of bad food. “I think a dare depending on the person is a good idea.”
(lol Zackary is a mood)
Barry grinned triumphantly. "One vote for my idea, then."
Violeta raised a hand again. "Two, actually."
Zackary rose Julie’s hand for her, smiling brightly. “Julie is the bestest cook I know!”
M glanced around at the others and rose his hand a little. He could cook, but very little. If they needed to he could step in and cook for a day.
Julie laughed. "Zack…" She rested her head on his shoulder. "Thank you, sweetie. Can you put my hand down now?"
Alison, Ashley, and Kasey all raised their hands. Ashley glanced at Lucas and chuckled, remembering the time he had tried to make eggs for her.
“Lucas definitely cannot cook,” she snickered.
Barry snorted loudly. "I can usually bake…. I'm not that great with baking, though."
“You make good freezer waffles,” Kasey said, nudging him playfully.
Chuckling, he bumped his shoulder against hers. "That I do, that I do."
Zackary laughed softly and let her hand go. “Yes, love. But you’re the best cook. Anyone who says different is wrong.”
Julie blushed as she wrapped her arms around Zack. "Thank you…"Muttered, hinding her face in his chest.
Lucas looked offended, shooting a betrayed look at his girlfriend.
“How could you stomp on my heart like this?” He cried dramatically. “You don’t need to rub salt on my wounds!”
Gray snickered from Violeta’s lap.
“Eden definitely wasn’t wrong when she said you were a drama queen,” he said, laughing. “Anyway, so Ashley, Barry, Kasey, Alisa, Julie—practically everyone can cook, except poor Lucas.”
Lucas threw a glare at Gray, which the male ignored.
“So here’s what we can do. We rotate shifts each day. We can decide who goes when, but here’s just a basic example—Ashley and Julie can cook breakfast, M and Alisa can do lunch, Violeta and I can do lunch. The rest of the teams can focus on cleaning. The next day, cooking and cleaning duties can be swapped. You can choose which meal of the day you want to prepare. Aside from Lucas. He’s stuck with cleaning. That good, or does someone have a better idea?”
(lmao
also, I realized a flaw
Kasey's roommate back at college was Kenzie, who is Lucas's mother. And they're both roughly the same age. lol)
Zackary glanced up, grinning a happy grin. I don't have a job! I can only make sandwiches out of lunch meat. They’ll never ask. He chuckled.
(Poor Zackary. XD He doesn’t realize the ones who don’t have cooking duty will have cleaning duty. 🤣)
Lucas. He’s stuck with cleaning…
(No mention of Zack lmao)
Lucas. He’s stuck with cleaning…
(No mention of Zack lmao)
(He basically said cooking and cleaning duties can be swapped, but Lucas is the only one who can’t swap because he can’t cook. He’s basically pointing out Lucas to tease him.)
(Oh lol
let Zack run away with himself)
"Sounds like a plan!" Alison agreed with a smile, picking up her husband's hand to press a random kiss to the back of it.
"So, anyway… Who wants to start?" Kasey asked, glancing around the room?
(1: I totally forgot about that, Topaz! Lol. I kinda just throw random characters into random role plays, so… Yeah.
2: I low-key don't remember how to play Never Have I Ever… It's been a long time, and I've only played it once.)
(Lol
Okay so basically everyone has ten points. One person will say ‘never have I ever… [insert thing that they’ve never done].” Everyone in the circle will say either ‘I have’ or ‘have not’. If they’ve done it, they put down a finger. When you have no fingers left, you’re out)
(What Topaz said, except this time it’s nine lives.)
(Ah. Okay. Thanks, guys. :)
"I can do it," Lucas said, sitting up before thinking deeply, a smile making its way to his lips. "Never have I ever cooked properly."
Gray groaned, lowering one finger down, leaving him with eight lives.
Violeta laughed, putting down a finger. “Smart, Lucas. Sneaky.”
Lucas laughed.
"Why, thank you, Violeta," he grinned. "I try."
