Shiloh looked up when Ollie tapped his shoulder, “You came!” He grinned hugely, “I saved you the seat, I’ll watch it while you go get food.” He seemed…tamer today than he did most other days. Not exactly sad, he just wasn’t bouncing off the walls with excitement.
One of his “friends” elbowed Shiloh in the shoulder, “Yah got a boyfriend there, Shi~??”
“Shuttup, Tyler.” He snapped back.
Ollie simply shrugged a shoulder and sat down, "I-It's fine, I'm not hungry." He knew he should eat, and he also knew he was boarding on becoming under weight but he hated eating in front of people and eating in general. He had a problem, but he didn't think about that right now.
At Tyler's comment, Ollie went a little, or a lot, red, "W-We only really just met…" He mumbled, again shrugging a shoulder.
Tyler only laughed more, causing Shiloh to just brush him off, “Just ignore him..” he huffed and returned to his meal.
Shiloh hunched over his meal, absentmindedly stirring his applesauce with a plastic spork, “So what are you interested in, Ollie?”
Ollie rested his head in his hands, leaning against the table with a soft sigh, "Um… I-I like drawing, writing, too. A-Anything creative really," He bit at his bottom lip. He liked singing, too but he wasn't going to mention that small fact. He looked around the table before looking at Shiloh, "Yourself?"
“Um..” he glanced around himself to make sure his friends were occupied with anything else but them. Satisfied that they were, He answered, “Just between you and me, I like writing too. I’m not good at it, but I guess it’s still fun. And uh, reading. Like literature and mythology…history. I play video games a lot,” he shrugged.
Ollie nodded a little, "I-I like history, its interesting to me," His nose crinkled up a little at the mention of video games, "I can't stand video games, th-they bore me… and a lot are violent and I can't do violence."
“Yeah, I get that.” He spooned some applesauce in his mouth. He stared at the lunch table while seemed to be pondering the taste of it. In reality he was listening to a conversation between two of his friends. A light-hearted insult brushed him the wrong way and he shifted uncomfortably, “It’s loud in here, do you want to go to the bathroom?”

Ollie tilted his head just a little, noticing the shift in demeanor but he didn't comment on it, not in front of all these people, "S-Sure." He offered a small smile, standing and throwing his bag over his back. Honestly he wasn't going to complain to get away from all these people.
Shiloh pulled his bag up to his shoulder and gathered his tray up to go throw away. He dumped the uneaten food into the trash, piled his tray up with the rest of them, and headed to the boy’s restroom with long strides. He wanted to escape here as quickly as possible…
Once in the bathroom, he sank down to the floor in the handicapped stall, keeping the door open for Ollie whenever he arrived.
Ollie had to slightly speed walk to keep up with Shiloh, confused and slightly worried. He hadn’t heard the the comment that was made and he was thoroughly confused. What had been said to make the ever so excited and unbothered Shiloh, uncomfortable?
Once they were in the stall, Ollie shut and locked the door behind him, “Y-You okay?” He asked gently, sitting down beside the other.
Shiloh plastered another smile on his face and nodded, “Yeah, I’m good, perfect.” He fibbed, “I just wanted to hear you better.” Given that they were hidden in a stall on the floor, he probably just didn’t want to hear better. There was something going on, but he obviously didn’t want to talk about it. At least not yet.
“So..do you have any pets?” He asked, fidgeting with a loose thread on his sleeve.
Ollie didn't push the subject, he knew when and when not to. He didn't like that Shiloh was trying to appear happy when clearly he hasn't but that wasn't his choice. He pulled his knees to his chest with a soft sigh, resting his head a top them, "I-I have a cat, her name's Luna."
Shiloh’s grin widened genuinely, “I have a cat named Faith! I love her and she’s my baby. Her litter box and food is in my room and only I take care of her so she’s basically mine,” he rambled, “Only we had her since I was little so she’s technically a family cat. She’s an old lady and just likes to sleep, but it’s really cute because she’ll curl up on my chest while I’m sleeping or doing homework or something.”
Ollie let out a soft giggle, "S-Same with Luna. A-Although she's more of a kitten," He sighed softly, "She's like… my only friend," He hugged himself tighter, though he was still smiling a little, "I-I found her on the s-street a couple months ago."
“Awww…” He beamed, “Does your family help take care of her?” He tilted his head a bit, curious about Ollie’s family, wondering if it was as much of a mess his own family was.
The smiled faded and he looked down towards the floor, "N-No. I-It's just my dad and I and…" He sighed, "B-Best not to talk about him…" He mumbled.
“Ah..” he nodded a bit, “It’s just my mom and I…I don’t like to talk about her either.” He shrugged it off, “Anyway, I have this ice cream parlor I like to go to everyday after school. Wanna join me?”
Ollie looked back to Shiloh and tilted his head to the side slightly, “You… y-you sure? I don’t want you to feel l-like you have to hang out with me for longer…”
“Oh come on,” he snorted, “Font make me feel like a lonely rag, I’m asking because I usually go alone. I mean sometimes I bring a girl with me but…not usually.” He looked down to his hands.
Ollie raised a brow but nudged him playfully, “O-Okay then, I-I’d love to go with you.” He smiled, running a hand through his hair.
“Awesome.” He nudged him back, his smile as joyful as ever, “I’ll meet you out in the parking lot after school, then. That cool?”
Ollie giggled a little and nodded, “Sounds like a plan,” His smile grew a little and he stood, the bell sounding off a second later.
Shiloh sighed, shifting to stand up with him, “Anyway, it’s time for my math class. I’m looking forward to after school..” he grinned and lightly shoved him with a shoulder, “I’ll see ya then, I guess.”
Ollie giggled softly at the nudge and he did the same back, "Y-Yeah, see you later." He smiled, unlocking the bathroom door and heading out. He looked over his shoulder at Shiloh before he disappeared from view.
