Death stopped dead. “I want to say it is…tomorrow? But now that I say that out loud I have a suspicion that it is probably today.”
Death stopped dead. “I want to say it is…tomorrow? But now that I say that out loud I have a suspicion that it is probably today.”
“Well then . . . I should probably check my calendar if I even put the meeting in there . . .” She says then pulls out a bag she had left under the bench. She takes out her cat covered notebook and flips to the back. “Meeting, meeting, meeting . . . It is today . . . And it starts in 5 minutes!”
“We should probably get moving, then. We have to hurry.” Death jumped up, fidgeting, “Oh dear, we are going to be late.” Death hated being late. He tried, most likely unsuccessfully, to hide his nervousness.
(Sorry I disappeared for a bit)
She laughed and slung the bag over her shoulder as she stood. “Let’s hope it will just be a meeting and not the Scales.” She pulled out her hair from under the strap of the bag and smoothed it out with her hand.
(It’s totally good!)

Death grabbed his coat. He shared Life’s hope that it would remain a simple meeting and not the Scales, but deep down there was a furious doubt in his gut, that they would taste displeasure at this meeting. Death, looking at Life, he whispered so quietly only the wind could hear, and carry it far away, “I love you.”
Then, at natural volume he asked if she was ready to go.
“Uh . . .” She had seen Deaths lips move before he had spoken at a regular volume. She was not a great lip reader but she was pretty sure if had to do with her. She shook her head, bringing her out of her thoughts. “Yep, let’s go. We have about 3 minutes now.”
(Can we do a little jump to the meeting?)
(Of course)
(Okay lol I just couldn’t figure out how to write him going with her and blah blah blah)
(Imma revive this, also I have lunch rn so yeah)
Thankfully, thankfully they had made it in time. A god, the god of war, tapped his foot impaitently. “Took you guys long enough.” Life heard him mutter. “We got here just in time, War,” She said. A tender hand clasped onto her left shoulder. She turned to see her great friend, Love. A solemn expression was set on her face, “We went to the grove, the Scales have been tipped.”
Death’s expression darkened. He knew this matter was serious, considering that it was a matter of Life and Death. Literally. “What else do we know?”
Love turned to Death, “We think someone might have purposely tilted them.” Life gasped, unable to hide her surprise. This couldn’t be happening, the mortals were just recovering from other issues and they were still facing their own problems.
(I will try to post again in about and hour and a half. I can’t rn tho.)
“Okay. What is the council’s decision? Shall Life and I engage the Plan, as we did the last time?” Death could only focus on what needed to be done to set things right on Earth. He knew that the scales directly interacted with him and Life, and vice versa. This was their responsibility.
(Bump. Also, Idk what the plan is lol)
(Yeah lol,it’s okay I get it. I’m super busy, too.)
(Hey, just checking in)
(Right, so, I have school until 3:30 PM EST and then I’ll be able to post at around 4 and then I should be more active since we’re almost done our essays and stuff)
(Okay, Great! I know school is always in the way, and I’m not mad or anything. Take all the time you need. School more important than this Rp)
“Since it is believed that someone has purposely tilted them you may have to edit or change the Plan a bit. Back here we will be trying to find out who did, If a god did it or a mortal has some how influenced a change in the Scales.” Love said. Life shook her head and looked down. This shouldn’t be happening, She thought. Why now? Why ever? Whatever had happened, she was determined to fix it.
Death sighed. “What should Life and I do?”
“You should keep a keen eye on the mortals and attend to as many problems as possible that may have been influenced by the Scales. If you can, you should also look out for any mortal or god, demigod even that may have broken in to the Room,” Love said. A scream could be heard from the map room, followed by the sound of a blowtorch being turned on. The map room was a map of the entire mortal world, which you could zoom in on and had the current weather etc. all around the globe. Life rushed into the room, the map had been zoomed in on a forest which now was ablaze. “No more wasting time, Life, Death. Do your best and we’ll do ours.”
Death nodded briskly. He turned to Life, “Let’s go.”
The fires were blazing strongly and there was enough wind to keep them alive. “We need to make sure there isn’t anyone inside and get them out of there if there is, I’ll also look to see what we can do for the animals. We’ll need to get the fire out as well.” Life stated and ran off into the blaze.
“I’ll look for any injured.” Death replied, heading out to look for anything close to death.
