Dierra got out of the car and gave Rico a quick kiss on the cheek, "Yup, totally about the shepherds," She joked, smiling and grabbing his hand as she started to walk towards the hotel entrance.
Dierra got out of the car and gave Rico a quick kiss on the cheek, "Yup, totally about the shepherds," She joked, smiling and grabbing his hand as she started to walk towards the hotel entrance.
Rico smiled and walked with her, his other hand into his pocket as they entered the life, pressing the button for the third floor.
Dierra rocked on her feet as she waited for the lift to reach the third floor, smiling when it finally did. "Prepare yourself for a slightly messy hotel room, ok?" She joked, knowing that her hotel was messy. She took her keycard and opened the room door, a small grin on her face as she looked at her few clean clothes in neat piles in the corner and her few messy ones thrown around the room. There were a few empty wrappers on the bed along with her laptop and a pair of headphones.
"Cozy" Rico remarked, plopping back on the bed and looking at her, folding his legs and putting his head in his hands, just watching her with a soft smile on his face
She smiled and walked into the bathroom, grabbing her stuff from there before dumping it onto the bed next to Rico, giving him a quick kiss as she passed him. "Feel free to eat as much food as you want." She said, motioning to the kitchen as she started picking up her dirty and clean clothes.
Rico rubbed his hands together, grinning and hopping off of the bed. He walked to the kitchen and found a packet of barbeque crisps. He opened them and popped one in his mouth, walking back out to the main room
Dierra started humming as she worked, putting all of her stuff into a old and beat up backpack. She grabbed her headphones and looped them around her neck as she swung her bag over her back. She took her blanket from the bed and folded it up, hanging it over her arm as she smiled happily at Rico.
Rico finished the crisps and tossed the bag in the trash, brushing his hands off, "Ready?" He asked, swallowing.
"Yup," She replied, nodding and walking to the door. She glanced at the room one more time to make sure she didn't forget anything before opening the door and walking to the lift.
Rico followed her, his hands in his pockets. He pressed the button for the lift and slung an arm around her shoulders with a smile
Dierra leaned her head against him, smiling easily. "So, what should we do now?" She asked, looking up at him.
Rico pecked her lips and checked his watch, "Well, we'll get you settled in at home, then I have to check my email to see if any jobs have come in. That reminds me, how are your legs feeling?" He smiled teasingly at her
"They don't feel great, but they definitely are at least a little better." She said, poking him in the side and grinning happily. They finally reached the lobby and Dierra walked over to the front desk, checking out quickly.
Rico fixed his hair in the glass doors, making it stand up like he liked it. He readjusted his glasses, then turned and waited as if nothing happened
Dierra smiled as she walked up to Rico. "I'm all set, let's get going." She opened the door and held it open for him, shifting her bag on her back so it was more comfortable.
Rico smiled and walked out to the car, opening her door for her before getting in his own side, starting the car
She carefully set her bag on the floor of the car and wrapped the blanket around herself. "Nice hair by the way," She said with a smile, rolling down her window to let some air in.
Rico smiled, "Thanks!" He smiled, pleased that she'd noticed. He drove back to the house and got out of the car, stretching and letting out a small yawn.
She nodded and got out of the car, slinging her bag over her back again and walking over to Rico. She gave him a hug and chuckled. "Tired?"
Rico chuckled and kissed her forehead, "Being the best boyfriend ever takes effort, man, I tell you" he joked, chuckling and unlocking the front door, calming the dogs as they leapt excitedly at them
"Oh, I bet." She joked with a laugh, walking inside and petting the dogs happily "Where should I put my stuff?" She asked, looking around and walking into the living room.
Rico scratched the back of his head, "My room?" He suggested timidly, smiling
Dierra nodded and smiled, "Ok, will do." She walked to his room and set her bag on the floor by the end of the bed, tossing her blanket on top of it. She pulled out a old book from her bag and grabbed her blanket again, walking back out to the living room.
Rico plopped down on the couch, chuckling as Bolt leapt up, but stayed a distance away. He pulled out his laptop and opened his email, scanning the multitude of job offers that awaited him
"Any cool jobs?" She asked, flopping down on the couch between Bolt and Rico. She pulled her legs up and covered herself with her blanket, opening up the book to a slightly dog-eared page and starting to read.
