"Sure, love. Hopefully she won't think I'm your little brother again…" He sighed softly.
"Sure, love. Hopefully she won't think I'm your little brother again…" He sighed softly.
V chuckled softly “yes, hopefully not.” He pressed a kiss to Nathaniel’s cheek. He adjusted his hold on Nathaniel to open the door and went inside. “Hi Zaya, mind if we look around a bit?”
Zaya waved and nodded, smiling softly as he saw V come in carrying Nathaniel “Of course, go ahead.”
Nathaniel relaxed a little once they were inside and left alone, resting his cheek on V's shoulder. "Looking for anything in particular, love?"
V ran his free hand along the spine of the books and shook his head, voice low and sweet “no, not really. Well, maybe two or three but I’m in no rush.”
"Well, you can get whatever books you want… I don't really care." Nathaniel yawned a bit as he looked up at the bookshelves.
“Never had a real love for literature, did you angel?” He laughed softly and bulked a book out from the shelf. “You always used to fall asleep whenever I started reading.” He recalled with a find smile
Nathaniel stuck his tongue out playfully. "In my defense, I was badly injured, drugged, and we were reading study books instead of anything interesting."
“They never really gave us anything if interest to read. Save for the astrology books.” He sat down against the bookshelf and cradled Nathaniel against him
Nathaniel nodded in agreement and examined the book V had grabbed. "What is it?" He asked.
“One if my favorites, Phantom of The Opera. One of the first books I read when I came here.” He explained voice soft and full of fondness for the piece of literature.
He nodded again, examining the cover curiously. "What's it about?" He asked.
A weird love triangle between these two guys, ones the girl's singing coach and the other is her childhood friend. The mentor was badly burned and abused in his childhood and grew up in an opera house. He used to talk to the girl through the walls and in her dreams. he fell madly in love with her and now wants to take her as his bride until her childhood best friend hears her sing and now has fallen in love with her." he explained, flipping through the pages and smiling. "the movie has great music too, but i like the book a lot."
"Huh…" Nathaniel thought for a minute. "That's… pretty strange, but it sounds interesting, I guess." He shrugged, glancing over the pages. "What are their names?" He asked. "Or do they not have any?"
"yeah, it's a weird concept. The girl's name is Christine, the phantom's name is Eric and the guy who likes Christine from childhood i think is named Raoul."
Nathaniel nodded. "Who's your favorite?" He asked, shifting his wings a little under V's jacket.
“I personally really like Eric.” He replied, wrapping his arm around Nathaniel’s waist and kissing his head
"He sounds cool…" Nathaniel yawned a bit and leaned back against V. "Why is he your favorite?"
He shrugged and nuzzled Nathaniel’s neck “I’ve always liked his character, the whole mysterious guy who just wants the girl to love him.”
"Mm… can't relate. I'm more into guys." Nathaniel smirked a bit and kissed V's cheek.
V laughed softly “I hope so, else this relationship is weirder than I thought.” He leaned into Nathaniel, ruffling his hair and tucking him under his chin
Nathaniel laughed as well, huddling close to V. "Yeah… I love you~"
“I love you more, angel.” He murmured, putting the book back and standing with Nathaniel in his arms
"You can get the book if you want to, love." Nathaniel said, looking a bit confused when V put the book back.
V shook his head “I have two copies at home, I was looking for a different book.” He kissed Nathaniel’s head and stood with him in his arms
"Oh… which one are you looking for, then?" Nathaniel asked, looking up at V.
